“Nice house in the sweetest village right in the center of the Cotswolds!”
The house is lovely, the living areas are big and spacious, the garden is beautiful and we even had a welcoming basket with some treats from the area. The only odd thing was not having a toilet in the master bathroom, but as we were in family it wasn´t a problem. We had a wonderful stay and would stay there again!
“Such a beautiful cottage we spent 3 nights there for a family wedding.”
There was everything that we needed and such a lovely welcome pack of local free range eggs, bread, butter, milk,t bags & coffee pods.
“Great property seemed strange no toilet in master bathroom!”
Only other thing was that the symbols on the dial for oven have worn off & it’s difficult to see what setting your on! Everything else really nice
“The cottage was perfect for our family to celebrate our daughters wedding.”
She left this beautiful cottage as a stunning bride. Lovely location which allowed us to meet up with other guests staying at the New Inn the following day for breakfast. We had wonderful weather so we were able to walk the short distance thru the village to the pub. Welcome basket of provisions was a lovely additional touch. The bathroom ensuite was very quirky but you needed to be quite careful on the staircase! Could have done with some instructions for the oven! Wanted to use the grill but couldn’t work out the controls. Overall a perfect stay and beautiful area. The communication from Manor cottages with directions and key instructions were easy and timely. Thank you
“Cottage had all we wished for.”
“Cotswold Cottage was just a wonderful place to stay in a friendly and welcoming village.”
We simply loved the cottage and would love to stay again. Beautifully, simply yet stylishly and tastefully furnished. We just loved it!
“The cottage was spacious and beautifully situated.”
We were lucky to have fabulous weather and used the garden a lot - that also enhanced our stay.
“Fab kitchen, everything works - lots of space - home from home.”
“Great location, good accommodation for 6 adults.”
“It is a lovely spacious cottage with (we found) more than adequate heating during a very cold spell.”
The kitchen is great for preparing big family meals and the sitting room comfortable for 6 adults. We really like Coln St Aldwyn as a base in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds
“Spacious, comfy beds, very clean, peaceful surroundings, everything there we needed.”
“A few tiny little things have been put right and the little gift pack is always a nice touch.”
For a rental holiday cottage it is first class.
“The overall accommodation and equipment were very good.”
“As always very clean, spacious, lovely kitchen and welcome pack.”
Good size lounge and dining room and 3 large bedrooms. All you need.
“Excellent location & facilities provided.”
“Cottage always clean and well equipped.”
Love the welcome basket of goodies. A great touch.
“Very clean, well equipped and furnished.”
Mrs Palin, June 2017.
“The cottage was as advertised and immaculate.”
The location is excellent. The kitchen was good.
“Very comfortable, well appointed and well decorated”
Spacious. Lovely outside space - we enjoyed breakfast and lazy mornings rond table in the courtyard. Mrs Pawling, June 2017.
Without any doubt this is one of the Cotswolds most attractive villages!
Set down a small, 'no-through' lane, Cotswold Cottage is a huge family home that offers ample accommodation across two floors.
Inside the property retains countless period features with beams, flagstone flooring and the odd wonky floor all giving it a welcoming character, while Outside you have an enclosed garden with space to play or simply sit.
We've enjoyed having this cottage for many years and always enjoy a return visit!
The kitchen is smart and very well equipped, while the vast Living Room with it's doors to the garden is perhaps the real heart to the home.
Given its size, the cottage is likely to appeal equally families or friends given its size and outstanding location.
(An excellent pub and award winning Village Shop are about 200 yards away!) To us this cottage is likely to appeal to those who are looking for a holiday or break in a location which offers the quintessential Cotswolds experience - walks everywhere, gorgeous villages at every turn and a stonking village pub - the kind of things we used to enjoy doing together once upon a time!
