“The property was very well equipped and we really appreciated the welcome basket, milk and essentials.”

There was even a small box of toys our little one enjoyed playing with. It was a very child and dog friendly place. Garden was secure and the bird feeders were a lovely touch. The only negative comment would be that the rug in the back lounge was covered in stains and felt very unhygienic so we rolled this up out the way throughout our stay. Other than that the house was clean and well kept.

Thank you for your kind comments — we’re really pleased to hear you found the property well equipped and appreciated the welcome basket and thoughtful touches for children and dogs. It’s great to know your little one enjoyed the toys and that the garden felt secure and inviting. Regarding the rug in the back lounge, we’re sorry to hear you found it stained. We had no stains reported prior to your stay, so this feedback has come as a surprise. Nonetheless, we appreciate you raising it and will ensure it’s looked at again to maintain our usual high standards. Thanks again for your feedback — we’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall and hope to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner

The property

The Lodge is a magnificent Cotswold vacation home situated in a charming community halfway between Cirencester and Burford.

The cottage is a lovely option for a Cotswold vacation because it still has many charming, original elements.

The owners oversaw the makeover and included some trendy and contemporary elements, such a woodburning stove and underfloor heating, that increase the cottage's appeal.

The property has a nice yard that is ideal for alfresco eating and is hidden down a "no through" lane.

This is a really nice vacation rental in a lovely village.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
