    “The property was converted to a very high standard.”

    Set in a beautiful location, with peace and quite just how we like it. And much wildlife just walking by. Bliss One thing we noticed, some possible water ingress damage to above the left window in the dining room. Wooden pelmet hanging down and roller blind stained. This didn't affect our comfort of course, but just cosmetic. It just let the otherwise well maintained property down a bit. Again we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

About the location

NORTHLEACH

Bourton on the water 5.5 miles; Stow-on-the-wold 9.1 miles;

Northleach is just off the Roman road, the Fosse Way (A429) 8 miles north-east of Cirencester and 10 miles south-west of Stow-on-the-Wold, and about 7 miles from Burford - making it an excellent place to travel from if you're looking to visit these popular and attractive places. Northleach was at one time an important market town, celebrated throughout Europe as a major centre for the Cotswold wool trade! The fifteenth-century church of St Peter and St Paul, paid for by the wealthy wool merchants, was built with stone dug from the quarry in the town itself and what is now the Market Square. More recently the village has been used in a number of recent films, including the Casual Vacancy of 2015.

Note: The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the barn with privacy provided via heavy drape curtains from the rafters and that there is low balustrade unsuitable for young children.
