Family Holidays within Cottages in the Cotswolds

Birdland

birdland.pngA wonderful Cotswold attraction where you can easily spend half a day walking around among free flying parrots, interesting cage birds, penguins and many others.

You will feel at one with the birds and the park is laid out with great respect for their natural habitats. A really great Cotswold park to go as a family.

Broadway Playground

broadway-playground.pngIf you’re in or around Broadway and looking for something fun to do with kids of any age, there simply is no better place than the playground located just off the High Street behind The Ashmolean Museum.

Split into sections suitable for different age groups, there’s a section for small toddlers, one for kids, one for bigger kids and teenagers and even one for adults.

This playground is pretty much the mother of all playgrounds.. worth a visit for half an hour or for half a day and there, of course, tables and benches so you can enjoy a picnic too as well as facilities with toilets and changing rooms.

Burford Wildlife Park

burford-wildlife-park.pngIf you’re anywhere near Burford and looking for somewhere to spend a day as a family, there is no better place than Burford Wildlife Park, located just minutes from the centre of Burford.

There is something for any age group to enjoy at family-friendly Burford Wildlife Park.

For children there’s a fabulous and brand new (as of June 2014) Skymaze where a good hour or two can be spent enjoying a treetop adventure.

Chipping Campden Playground

chipping-campden-playground.pngWhen in Chipping Campden with your children, do make sure you bring them to the big playground behind the school, just 3 minutes’ walk from the High Street.

It is a beautiful playground with several areas where you can enjoy a picnic or just sit down while your children are enjoying the play.

Cotswold Farm Park

cotswold-farm-park.pngEveryone loves Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park and it’s a fabulous place to bring your kids when visiting the Cotswolds.

Entry is reasonably priced and you’re welcome to bring your own food for a picnic or you can have lunch or coffee and cake in their restaurant and in several places o=all over the park you can buy drinks and ice cream.

You can spend half and whole days at Cotswold Farm Park and both your and your children will love the animal interaction and all the interesting things there are to learn about animals bands nature.
