The property

The Barn is one of two luxury barn conversions, settled within the grounds of the owner's home, on the outskirts of Hanbury village in Worcestershire.

This all-ground-floor property is ideal for a small family or couple wanting to explore Worcestershire.

The property offers an open-plan living room with a sitting room, dining area and well-equipped kitchen.

There are bi-fold doors that open up onto a lovely decked patio, where you can make use of the barbecue and enjoy the countryside and pond views, while an additional patio seating area can be found at the front of the property.

There are two bedrooms to choose from, comprising a king-size double or a twin which is zip/link and can be king-size on request, each with their own convenient en-suite shower rooms.

Hanbury village is a short distance away, with a pub/restaurant and a craft centre, while a wider range of amenities can be found in nearby Droitwich Spa.

Walkers will enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside and towns like Stratford upon Avon, as well as the city of Worcester and its lovely medieval cathedral.

The Barn is a peaceful escape in rural Worcestershire.

DROITWICH SPA

Worcester 7.7 miles; Birmingham 25 miles.

Situated on the northern fringes of the Malvern Hills AONB is Hanbury, a rural village with a restaurant and small selection of shops, as well as being home to the National Trust's Hanbury Hall and Gardens, a country house with an orchard and parklands that dates back to 1701. Close by is Broad Acres Lake, which is excellent for fishing. Within easy reach is the charming spa town of Droitwich, known for historic architecture and boat trips along the Birmingham Worcester Canal, as well as the Forge Mill Needle Museum and Arrow Valley Country Park, which has 900-acres to discover, as well as a river and a lake. Venture into the Malvern Hills for some scenic walking trails through picturesque countryside, and visit the city of Worcester, which offers a Medieval cathedral, museums, an art gallery, golf course and Worcester Woods Country Park. The market town of Stratford-upon-Avon is a short drive away, known for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare and filled with Shakespeare-inspired attractions, while the picturesque countryside, honeypot villages and quaint thatched roof cottages of the Cotswolds is slightly further afield.
