The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed and beautiful gardens surrounding it.

We made use of the hot tub , which was very secluded , every day. The hosts were very welcoming but unobtrusive. A great location to visit gardens and houses and for walking.

Really lovely quiet location, owners were great everything you wanted was there and accommodation was excellent.

Callie the dog was adorable and very friendly.

Buttercups at Midway was an ideal property for our one week break.

With a large kitchen, spacious living room and generous bedroom we, as a couple, felt we had plenty of space to relax in peaceful and private surroundings. The hot tub was located just outside the bedroom doors, was completely private and maintained on a daily basis by the owners. The cottage is well located in a beautifully quiet area but with footpaths from the doorstep and with great road connections we were able to explore the local and wider area easily. We had a warm welcome from Stewart and Ann with general welcome treats! They were very close-by had we needed anything. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this cottage!

Wonderful holiday home!

The owners are lovely and welcoming, and there was a delicious cake on arrival (which pleased the ravenous teenagers). The house was well-equipped, warm, clean and comfortable (I slept really, really well!) and I particularly enjoyed the hot tub. The only thing which I would change is the dishwasher; it is very small so I found myself loading and unloading it far more regularly than I would've liked. But it did not detract from my overall enjoyment of the holiday, and I would happily return!

From arriving at our cottage to leaving, everything was great.

We had a lovely welcome by our hosts, followed by a in depth, relaxed walk through of the cottage. The cottage is lovely and as described. I would highly recommend this cottage and hopefully return!!!!

Absolutely fantastic week, lovely people, great place to stay with kids, fabulous garden, hot tub and selection of indoor and outdoor games.

Lots of information provided about the area and places to visit, lots to explore within the area, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely welcome cake and bubbles, and essentials. The owners are around if needed but not at all intrusive and although their house is on the same plot how they are positioned still affords complete privacy for both. Beautiful countryside views from all directions. Visited Puzzlewood, Doitwich spa lido and Whitley hall and gardens all of which we would recommend. Would recommend this place for a chilled out private and peaceful stay with owners on hand should you need anything. Thanks again Anne and Stewart for a great week. This property deserves a five tick Sykes rating - everything is perfect.

We were greeted warmly by Stuart and Anne (plus Callie their dog). We had wonderful cakes on arrival (Hashtag Nom are amazing, check out their cafe) . Everything is catered for - games and books for any downtime; a wonderful hot tub with a very private and peaceful outlook, all in a very comfortable and roomy home from home. I can see why people return year on year. Lots to do in the area including Stratford-Upon-Avon (MAD Museum, Tudor World and RSC are all fabulous), lots of National Trust properties and gardens, Birmingham easily reached by train, Black Country Living Museum plus lots of Cotswold charm. Thank you for a delightful stay

Buttercups is a really lovely, comfortable cottage with loads of outside space.

The owners, Stuart and Anne are so helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

The house was spotlessly clean. Absolutely everything had been thought of for both adults and children. We slept very well in the large comfortable bed. The outdoor space is very relaxing and the hot tub was a fabulous bonus. The location is perfect for a combination of remoteness and connection. A 20 minute walk through the fields takes you to a couple of pubs both with great food, and a coffee shop. The hosts are lovely. They couldn’t have done any more to make us comfortable. A huge friendly welcome and lots of care taken.

We have enjoyed every minute in this clean and tidy cottage or in the surrounding garden.

We used the hot tub regularily soaking under the stars - a special kind to relax after the days filled with activities such as cycling, walking or visiting historic sites. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Whenever we met in the yard we were chatting intensively. Thank you very much for this splendid week.

Loved this property!

A great welcome by the owners together with Prosecco and cake. It was well presented, well equipped, comfortable and clean. We didn’t book it for the hot tub but enjoyed several nights under the stars. Good location, Gloucester and Worcester a must and we visited many National Trust properties in the area. A very tranquil place and will definitely revisit if in the area again in the future.

A warm and friendly welcome from the owners Anne and Stuart.

Coming into the kitchen, a delicious looking sponge cake was waiting for us and a bottle of Prosecco was in the fridge. The cottage had alight and airy feel to it and was spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels etc. The hot tub was just outside the french doors and away from view. That too was wonderful to be in and was discreetly checked twice a day. There was plenty of information to read about the area and plenty of walks, many of which were local. The owners were on hand to answer any queries as well. Thoroughly recommend this cottage and if we were coming to this area again would definitely stay again.

Buttercups is a super place to stay.

It is incredibly well stocked with everything you might need for a self catering holiday and plenty of information was provided on places to explore nearby. It is very well located and gave us easy access to Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham attractions. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and it feels like you are a million miles away from all the hustle and bustle. We were welcomed by the lovely owners Anne and Stuart and their dog Callie, who the children adored. They even left us yummy cakes and prosecco to enjoy, which went down very well indeed. To top it all off the hot tub was bliss and we made use of it every day. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday.

We had trips out to the climbing wall and Lido and on recommendation the local Nom cafe Good local walks and quiet roads for running Ate in the boot inn also which was great Watched rabbits from the patio window in the morning and the starts at night from the hot tub Wifi didn’t disappoint teenager !Selection of books was appreciated All in all a great stay and would recommend and love to go back I hope the owners take up their idea of offering yoga sessions too !,

We didn’t want to come home!

We previously stayed in this gorgeous little Bungalow 4 weeks earlier and booked back in as soon as we could, we loved the place, the people, the surroundings and Callie the dog so very much. Stuart and Anne are lovely hosts who make you feel very welcome. They were amazing with our 7 year old daughter who befriended their gorgeous sprocker Callie. The setting in the countryside is stunning, the gardens are fabulous and an amazing, safe space for a 7 year old to investigate. Incredible amounts of nature on the doorstep, deer, birds of prey, rabbits and woodpeckers! We’re planning next year already!

Treats on arrival and a bowl of lovely home grown raspberries during our stay. Many thanks for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday in the beautiful countryside.

Enormous chalet bungalow, very clean and well-equipped.

In a lovely area. Stewart and Anne were very welcoming. There is an enormous garden enabling us to play croquet. There are vegetable and fruit plots to which we were invited to help ourselves. Wi Fi is available with a really strong signal as well as Prime, Netflix and Freeview available on the TVs in the lounge and the downstairs bedroom. A washer/dryer is available to use as well as an airer and iron with ironing board so we didn’t have so much washing to do on our return home. The hot tub was used by all and checked regularly by Stewart. We would highly recommend this accommodation. ,

We didn’t want to come home.

We took our 6 year old daughter and couldn’t fault this place at all. Thank you to Stuart and Anne for welcoming us to their annexe. The gardens were phenomenal, there was so much countryside to explore on the doorstep and the cottage was in easy reach of lovely places to go to via car. We were blessed with fabulous weather too which made us appreciate all of the facilities available even more. We wished we’d have booked a fortnight and are planning a return trip! Big shout out to Callie the Sprocker who made our little girls week! Such a friendly dog who was so loving and fun. Thank you for a great week - can’t wait to come back !

This was an amazing holiday away.

The area is so peaceful and beautiful to stay to just relax to the maximum. Owners were absolutely amazing, always topping up the hot tub without me even needing to ask! They gave us cake and a bottle of wine as a welcome which went down a treat. So much to do around so many places were visited. I would 100% recommend and would 100% stay again.

We have recently returned from a superb week staying at Buttercups.

What an amazing place in a lovely quiet location. The owners Anne and Stewart are brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help. We were greeted on arrival and shown around the accommodation, given plenty of advice of activities and places to go locally as well as a welcome gift of a lovely sponge cake and a bottle of fizz, which we enjoyed on our first evening in the hot tub! The perfect start to a week away. There is everything you could want provided in the kitchen, we managed to cook a full roast on Easter Sunday! There is plenty of space inside and out. Games and books provided also. The hot tub is extremely well looked after and always clean and ready for use, which makes for some very relaxed evenings watching the stars. Anne and Stweart have put together a selection of thoughtful information packs full of things to do and events happening locally and also provided us with extra history around certain areas we were interested in. Thank you very much for a perfect week away, we will definitely be back and look forward to staying again soon. We thoroughly recommend staying at this cottage.

Ann and Stuart made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.

We were provided with some Milk, a bottle of Prosecco and a sponge cake upon arrival . The information folders they provided were very informative. The Bluebell cottage was very clean and the hot tub was a welcome treat after a full day out .

It would be extremely difficult to find fault with anything , From arrival to departure Little bits like welcome pack , greeting you and showing you where everything is and how they work .

The hot tub is clean , comfortable and chemically checked twice a day so your safety. The property is within short driving distance of many towns to visit including Stratford upon Avon . In all a perfect getaway .....would recommend to friends and family

The property was very comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Cake and Prosecco as a welcome pack. What more could you want? The owners Stewart and Anne were very accommodating if we needed anything and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this property.

A lovely touch was the provision of a lovely cake with milk and Prosecco in the fridge. Tea bags and coffee and were also provided together with all the necessary utensils you would need for producing your own meals. The hot tub was kept scrupulously clean by Stewart and the chemicals were checked on a daily basis. The setting is peaceful and quiet a fabulous place for a relaxing break. Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return at some point. Thank you again Anne and Stewart.

Second time here and loved both times, will be going again next year

We had a wonderful stay thank you.

Our second visit having stayed last year and loving it for the peaceful location, the hot tub and being a stones throw away from great family days out and great pub food (The Flyford was excellent!) Stuart and Anne are warm and welcoming hosts. A few new additions were found this year by our children: a huge box of toys which they loved! The books and games are great and a new shower mat, (the old one had seen better days). One change I would ask, is that blackout blinds are put in the twin bedroom. The current blinds are very light and don’t block out any of the light at all, with August sunshine blasting in the bedroom from 5am both our children were wide awake and unable to go back to sleep. We fixed this by buying temporary paper blackout blinds from Dunelm that were propped behind the existing blinds and removed when we vacated. But this would certainly be a welcome permanent addition if we were to stay again. We have highly recommended this holiday home to many of our friends! Thanks again.

What a lovely property!

We visited with our older mother who stayed in the upstairs room (walk in shower), and we stayed in the downstairs room (also walk in shower) with patio door out to the hot tub. Sunny sitting room, and very well equipped kitchen diner, even a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The hosts and their dog were lovely and had prepared a fantastic list of places to eat, walk, and visit. Easy to get to lots of places from here, but very peaceful and quiet.

An absolutely terrific place to stay with kind and generous owners who really care about their guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at Buttercups, we were made welcome by Ann & Alistair.

The property is set in a beautiful large garden with apple trees & there are country views from every window. The purpose of the holiday was to see family, my sister & husband joined us for part of the week. The hot tub is a real bonus & is looked after every day by Alistair. We would recommend the The Boot pub where we had a lovely meal. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is place for you. Thank you both for the cake & the Prosseco. There is also tea, coffee & milk for a welcoming cuppa.

everything was on hand , if you needed anything Anne and Stuart were very friendly and welcoming . I would stay again and hopefully in the near future. I have always found with Sykes properties that they are not very clean especially the cookers , but this was extremely clean . I would recommend any one to book this property.

The property was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need for our stay, and more! The owners were lovely, and very accommodating. We couldn't have asked for better, would 100% recommend.

This is a lovely home in a very quite location.

The garden is massive, due to the time of year, we didn't make the most of this but this would be a great extra space in the summer. The owners live on site and were very helpful, but left us to do our own thing, not bothering is all the time. We really enjoyed our short stay here. My only minor grumble is the hob is only two rings not four. Which is a bit of an issue if your group is a mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian and you need to do separate meals for each. It is also worth noting that the freezer is only a small compartment in the fridge, not a full size freezer. These are minor moans, otherwise I would give this a 10 out of 10.

The property is actually detached and extremely private from the welcoming then unobtrusive owners who live opposite.

There was milk and Prosecco in the fridge and a delicious cake on the table. We did not use the hot tub. The upper bedroom area and shower room certainly looked comfortable and practical but we lived on the ground floor. The kitchen and the ground floor bedroom are very large as is the huge and comfortable bed. The shower is spacious. The sitting room is cosy and well equipped with card and board games for all ages. The are views of the garden from the sitting room and the bedroom and plenty of areas to sit out /BBQ. The field and its flock of sheep entertain from the kitchen window. The appliances worked well and the heating is very controllable via the thermostat. The internet was dependable. This is a fantastic property and certainly on our list for future visits.

We had a wonderful stay at Buttercups with our 2 young children thank you.

The property is spacious with the most beautiful private garden. Fields all around, we enjoyed the sheep next door, the birds and star gazing at night. The hot tub was in daily use: morning, afternoon and night and we really appreciated the sensitive twice daily visits from Stuart to keep it topped up with water and check the chemicals. We also loved that it wasn’t too hot and the children could enjoy it too and they absolutely loved it. The kitchen was great, really well stocked, with the nice little snug lounge after a busy day. We loved all the care that had been taken in the childrens books available (our 2 read everything) the games and information packs. There are so many places to visit within short drives, you’re spoilt for choice, it really is a great location for historic towns, national trust houses and gardens, castles (Eastnor Castle was a favourite, fantastic for families with rope swings on every tall tree on the woodland walk!) and farms. We could go on. We will highly recommend this lovely place and can see why it’s booked up. Many thanks again and we look forward to booking again in the future.

The owners were very kind and friendly people, that were very helpful and took the time to explain everything when we arrived.

The cottage itself is lovely, set in a large orchard, down a quiet country road and the location is convenient for all the major north Cotswold destinations. The hot tub was fantastic, whether listening to the morning chorus has the sun came up or relaxing in the evening after a day out and about.

We stayed from 6/8/22 for a week, Anne and Stewart were very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.

We were greeted with welcome gifts. Everything was there to make it a home from home. We really enjoyed our stay and will be looking into staying again next summer.

A lovely stay in a beautiful rural setting.

The perfect base for our week's activities in the local area.

This is a lovely and well-maintained property, providing a comfortable base for your stay.

It has all the amenities that you would expect and some additional ones. The hot tub was very welcome after a day's sightseeing; it was sparklingly clean and is checked twice daily by the owners as well as being emptied and cleaned after each guest. The downstairs shower is a long walk-in one, and both are very powerful with consistent temperatures. The garden is huge, not something you normally get, and there is sun all day long, outside the downstairs bedroom from first thing and round the side in the evening. Listen out for the rook display each evening! As previous reviews have said, the owners (and dog) are lovely and very friendly, but not intrusive. The welcome cake and prosecco were a very nice touch. All in all a lovely stay. We will be back when next in this area.

A very comfortable property, a home from home. Brilliant location for walkers and so many pubs within 5 minutes drive for eating out. The owners are fantastic and very helpful. The folders they provide on things to do and walking are excellent. We highly recommend this property.

Fantastic accommodation, perfect hosts, available but not intrusive.

Lovely welcome pack of cake and bubbles. Everything supplied... Super king bed very spacious. Location fantastic. Red Hart pub ten minutes walk away, Sunday lunch excellent and very good value, second meal one evening also very good, steak cooked to perfection. Added bonus of airshow nearby, sitting in the hot tub watching hot air balloons and the red arrows.

We had a lovely stay, beds were really comfortable, cosy lounge quirky fittings everywhere was very nice, gardens well kept.

Plenty of places to visit not too far to travel. Little things could be improved, mirror in 2nd bedroom was small and the mirror in the bathroom of main bedroom too high to see yourself but there is a full length mirror in the bedroom, a few more items for use when cooking would have been handy, we were 3 adults to cook for. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Anne & Stewart have made this cottage a most wonderful place to stay.

They did everything they could to make our holiday perfect. Cake and bubbly, milk, coffee & tea for us on arrival and they even had the place ready early for us as the previous occupants had left before time. Lovely decor throughout, very spacious and everything we needed for our break away, including booklets of local places of interest, walks and eateries. With 3 pubs within walking distance and lots of fabulous places to visit within a short drive the cottage is perfectly placed. A shame we could only stay 4 nights as there was so much more to see. The icing on the cake here is the beautifully large garden and hot tub to view the stars at night and to watch the rabbits and sheep in the daytime. You certainly can’t top having a Tardis too. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely short stay at Buttercups.

The accommodation was very spacious, with plenty of room for 4 adults and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The provisions of milk, wine and a lovely Victoria sponge was very much appreciated and a generous touch - so thank you for that. It is a great location to explore the surrounding areas - Evesham and Stratford on Avon are within easy reach. We would definitely recommend Buttercups to anyone looking to stay in this area and if we are staying in the area again, would stay here without hesitation.

We had a fabulous time at Buttercup Cottage.

It far exceeded our expectations. It was an ideal location, set in the owners fabulous garden but private nonetheless due to its orientation. Ann and Stewart were very welcoming, but left us to enjoy our holiday. It was perfect for the mother in law who enjoyed the grand downstairs suite. The welcome basket was very nice and unexpected. Overall a fabulous place which we would highly recommend and would return to.

Great location for exploring by car.

Property was larger than it appeared on the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Owner had thought of everything - milk, cake, wine, some tea and coffee, cleaning supplies. Saw local wildlife and loved the hot tub! We had a fantastic week.

Myself, My partner and our 2 children (17and 8) Had an absolutely fantastic stay here.

Such a lovely cottage made even better with the huge garden and hot tub and lots of home comforts. The girls especially loved that the WiFi was super fast. We definitely picked the best week to come as temperatures were in the late 20’s to 30’s every day. There were lots of things to do close by such as Cadbury’s World, Drayton Manor theme Park and also the Black Country museum which was almost like being in Peaky Blinders. It was lovely to relax in the garden in the evenings and just totally chill out. I would like to mention aswell how fantastic the hosts were in helping us out when we had some car trouble. Their kindness and generosity was second to none and will not be forgotten. We will most definitely be back and hopefully sooner rather than later.

What a lovely place Anne and Stewart what lovely host nothing was too much trouble and were around if needed. Thank you for the cake and procecco on arrival very thoughtful. The place is lovely clean bright and airy. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting in the garden a very peaceful base to retire to after a busy day sightseeing. We had a fantastic stay.

What a wonderful, peaceful gem of a holiday cottage this is.

Spotlessly clean, both the cottage and the owners provide a warm welcome. We were fortunate that we had superb weather which allowed us to sit in the garden til late in the evening. We were delighted to watch rabbits, squirrels, numerous birds including kestrels and a buzzard and even a toad. The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were very comfortable and the surroundings were ideal for a relaxing break after a difficult year. We will definitely book again. Thank you to Anne and Stuart the hosts.

We had a lovely week at Buttercups The owners greeted us upon arrival, they live next door and are lovely people and we appreciated the goodies they left for us, a delicious fruit cake and a bottle of Prosecco.

The property is a credit to them, very clean, and a comfortable bed, well equipped to do your own evening meals. Made use of the hot tub on an evening after a day of walking. If you would like to dine out we recommend The Boot Inn, a few minutes drive from Buttercups, a warm welcome and delicious food. Can highly recommend a stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing week away!

! We loved our stay.. the cottage was lovely, had everything we needed for a family of 3 with our young son including high chair, travel cot, stair gate and even toys & books! Really nice touch :) we were greeted with the most amazing chocolate cake when we arrived!! Owners live on site which is not a problem at all, we only saw them at the beginning of our stay when we arrived & then a few times when we contacted them as we needed assistance. Hot tub is a really nice added touch and we enjoyed even in the rain!! The garden was HUGE and amazing for our son, we loved pottering around and the fields near the cottage. Lots of things to do in and around the area for us, we honestly had such an incredible week. Booked fairly last minute and we would definitely visit again.

We had a fantastic couple of days at buttercups we were greeted by the owners on arrival, accommodation was perfect and in immaculate condition was lovely and peaceful, beautiful garden was nice to get in the hot tub on the evening, lovely weather just what we needed after lockdown we have booked again for June for a week highly recommended

We stayed at Buttercups for the week of 17-24 April 2021.

The accommodation was immaculate, comfortable and a home from home. The owners were brilliant, generous and extremely welcoming and we were fortunate to have fantastic weather for mid April. The hot tub was amazing and we made full use of it! We highly recommend Buttercups.

We had an amazing time at Buttercups, such lovely details from the cream tea (delicious) to the book of handy walks, places to go and places to eat!

There is so much information provided by the lovely hosts! They really did think of everything! Would definitely love to stay here again, the hot top was honestly to die for, watching the stars at night with the sheep in the field next door, looking into the garden was amazing!

Our short visit to this cottage was very good, we were greeted on arrivals by the friendly owners and found some scones for an afternoon tea which where delicious.

The location is lovely, surrounded by countryside, very quiet which was perfect. The cottage was very clean, and the hot tub a perfect distraction. The cottage is easy access to local towns, and the a few lovely local pubs serving good food. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

We had a really nice time at buttercups, and we would like to go back there some time.

We always worry that the accommodation will meet our needs, however Buttercups was ideal.

Our daughter is disabled and apart from needing a downstairs bathroom and bedroom we never know if things will be suitable. The best thing about the accommodation is it's size. The kitchen/diner is large and so is the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The gardens are lovely, beautiful orchard and the farmer's field behind the annexe full of entertaining sheep. We were able to access the hot tub and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Brilliant.

Anne and Stewart have created a first class holiday experience with "Buttercups" the facilities and style of hosting was a credit to them!

I have no hesitation in highly recommending this property to other prospective visitors. Looking forward to returning in the future!

We stayed at buttercups 8th-15th August 2020.

From the moment we arrived it was perfect. The owners, Anne and Stewart had left us scones with Jam and cream and a selection of tea and coffee and milk which was a lovely touch. They live in the house next door but they respect your privacy.....however they are there for you should you need anything (like a last minute paddle boarding booking!). Buttercups is a beautiful, pristine holiday home, everything appeared to be brand new and it had everything you could need in a holiday home. The gardens are lovely and there was plenty of space to play boules or have a kick about. The hot tub was an added bonus and was used frequently by us after long walks, bike rides or activities on the nearby lakes. Buttercups is in a very peaceful location (2 lovely pubs within walking distance) but is very central if you want to get out and about like we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and I have no doubt we will return. Thanks to Anne and Stewart for a great week in Buttercups.

This holiday was perfect.

The annex is so clean and spacious, the garden is big so plenty of space for the kids to play. The hot tub was lovely too. Anne and Stuart were fab, very friendly and approachable, gave us lots of information on where to go etc.... Surroundings are great and there is plenty to do around the area. Nice footpaths to walk and nice local pubs. This had everything for us as a family. The wifi and smart TV were an added bonus too. We are definitely booking again for next year.

Anne and Stuart were wonderful owners, the buttercups is a beautiful cottage, the garden for the children was huge and the hot tub was an added bonus.

The buttercups is in a great location to most attractions and all the local facilities are great. I can highly recommend this cottage to families.
