The Property was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The hot tub was very enjoyable, with the weather being very kind to us. Would definitely recommend this property. The location was excellent, very quiet so able to relax but still near locations that we wanted to visit. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful holiday at Oak Tree Cottage, we were made to feel welcome right from the start, the Cottage was so lovely clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, It was so peaceful and relaxing and the location was great for exploring from all directions.

Oak Tree Cottage is extremely comfortable and very well equipped.

Our host Jacques was always on hand but not intrusive. The hot tub was a real bonus in the heatwave we've been having.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Generous “welcome” pack. Light and airy bedrooms and huge bathroom. Large enclosed well maintained garden. Sun trap patios. Very friendly and accommodating owner who went out of his way to help. Great communication. Fingers crossed we will return next July!

Jacques was a wonderful host of an absolutely beautiful cottage in an idyllic location.

We were very lucky to have found this stay for a last minute family break away, with 2 couples. The setting alone was amazing, so peaceful and pretty, then the facilities at the cottage were a complete bonus. The kitchen was well equipped for meals we cooked over the few days we were there, and a lovely surprise of some goodies from the hosts, very generous indeed (the lemon drizzle cake was our favourite!). Jacques was attentive and was available when we needed him, and this really added to the relaxing break we had. We spent a lot of our days in the National Forest, which had lots to do and some lovely walks, plus a visit to Ledbury which we enjoyed. We had such a nice time that we would love to come back here again!

Wow what a property, absolutely beautiful inside and out, we arrived in the dark and waking up to those views was amazing.

The hot tub was perfect and very well maintained. Could not find a single fault with this property and so many lovely places to visit nearby. This was our second visit to orchard view and again we were impressed with all facilities and cleanliness of the property.

also thank you for our gifts on arrival. We had a lovely week weather wise, visited the Malvern autumn show, and plenty of other places as there was so much to see in the area. We will visit the area again. The accommodation was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing. one of the best places we have stayed.

We have stayed in many UK Cottages but our latest stay for a four day break in " Orchard View" has proven the best, by far.

From the first moment that our host Jacques greeted us with a very warm, informative and comforting welcome it was clear we were going to enjoy this stay. The location is beautiful, peaceful and calming. These elements are further continued within the exceptionally presented clean, bright, comfortable and surprisingly spacious cottage accommodation. The welcoming package from host Jacques was again the most complete, thoughtful and welcome contents we have ever experienced. For the first time we made full use of this kind action and enjoyed all the food and wine on offer. The overall presentation of the cottage was complete in regard to everything to make one's stay comfortable and worry free had been thought of and presented. The quality of the furnishings and all supporting items was without issue. We were hoping for a short break to recharge after what had been a very busy and hectic summer period and whole ambience of Orchard View and its seamless connection with its surrounding land, nature and vistas proved to be the perfect answer to our hopes. The best way to comment on this was that for the first time ever for us whilst staying at a location, we actually rebooked to stay next year at Orchard View again. Thank you Jacques.

Absolutely wonderful stay.

Jacque is very friendly and interesting host. Cottage was comfortable , very well equipped kitchen,all the bits you would need for your stay. Great comfy superking bed, bedding of high quality.Towels great too. Treats to get us start also exceptionly good and very much appreciated. Many thanks for showing us the stables. I really loved meeting the horses, made my day! We enjoyed watching the horses practising for dressage. Beautiful views , fab hot tub and peaceful surroundings .Great base for visting many areas & NT property's. We will definitely return. Again! Thanks alot for making us feel so welcome. We loved everything about Orchard View!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard: a well-equipped kitchen with a generous welcome pack, hotel quality beds, bedding and towels, a lovely walk-in shower with constant hot water, and patio doors to the 3 main rooms, when open, provided a welcome breeze during the hot weather. Its peaceful location, gorgeous views, the hot tub (when the weather was cooler!) the horses, and such kind attention from Jacques our host, all combined to make our holiday so memorable. The daily appearance of Green Woodpeckers was a delight. We rarely visit the same cottage twice, but we'll definitely return to Orchard View, one of the best cottages we've ever stayed in.

The cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equiped; we really enjoyed our stay - especially the amazing views from every room, which helped to make it a very relaxing break. There was plenty to do in the area, much of it only a short drive away. We would happily return in the future and would recommend Orchard Cottage to family and friends.

Wonderful property with amazing views and welcoming hosts.

Our daughter fell in love with the horses and we all loved the hot tub! We would love to come back in the near future to explore more of the area. House was very well equipped with everything you could need . The kitchen had a full stock of pans and utensils, the living space was perfect with some games and a smart tv, and all towels and bedding were provided. There were fans, ironing boards, high chairs and cots available - the hosts really have covered it all!

Super quiet and the perfect location for a host of events/venues in the surrounding areas.

Over many years of cottage holidays this one stands out above all others for everything one could wish for.

Brilliant customer care, high standards of cleanliness, and facilities. Be very careful to follow the instructions on arrival because the route is not straightforward and it would be easy to become confused. Also the country lane from the A417 is breaking up in parts and can be rough. However we loved this holiday and fully intend to return because there is so much to do in the area.

Me & my 15yr old grandson had an amazing time here, This cottage is beautiful, home from home comfortable, private, hot tub was fantastic, very private garden, everything was easy to use The owners are just lovely, Definitely people you would want to be friends with, not intrusive at all, but there if you need help with anything, Beautiful horses, beautiful surroundings, peaceful & tranquil, but so much to do down there, we had 5 days, definitely not enough!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Orchid View.

This place was a real find! Up there with the very best accommodation we have booked on our many travels over the years. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was so clean and warm. Everything we needed for our 7 nights was available plus little added touches such as tissue boxes, body soap for the shower, washing detergent etc. The TV is huge and the views from the rooms are beautiful. Jacques is so friendly and accomodating. Nothing is too much trouble. He is a great host.We loved our chats with him and enjoyed getting to know him over a drink out in the garden. And of course the hot tub is the icing on the cake. It was lovely and clean and very welcome after long days out seeing the many sights of the area. Absolutely no negatives at all. We were so sad to leave and we would highly recommend Jacque's beautiful property to anyone wanting to stay in Gloucestershire. Absolutely 5 star accommodation. We would definitely return if we are in Gloucestershire in the future.

As a disabled person I always select our stays with Sykes, I fine their details of each and every property extremely helpful.

I have to have properties that are on one level, along with walk in shower facilities, I always take a few items from home to help my stay, but these are minimal. Our stay at Orchard view was fabulous, the cottage is a home from home, from the moment you walk in you know that you are going to be comfortable, as we visited in Feb not the warmest or driest of times to holiday. It was warm and cosy as soon as you walked through each room. Both bedrooms are spacious and both have more than enough storage space, you would have to take an enormous amount of clothing to fill the wardrobes and drawers, Our super king sized bed was sooooo comfortable, and a good height to get in and out of, I cannot stand upright from low furniture. Jacques the home owner was super helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and what things are available to do. Our granddaughter loved the hot tub as did I, I was amazed that I was able to get in and more importantly back out, with help from my partner and granddaughter. Even though the weather was cold the hot tub was a dream, helped with my aches and pains and so relaxing. As you can gather I could go on forever about this cottage. The scenery from each room is glorious, even if you are not interested in horses you cannot help but love the landscape and it is so peaceful.

The property owner (Jacques) contacted us soon after we made our booking, with clear directions to the cottage, as well as a list of recommended restaurants, and a list of what would be provided and what we would need to bring.

On the day, he welcomed us personally, and gave us a tour around the place. Throughout the stay, he made himself available by telephone if we had any problems. The property was really cosy - it felt like staying in a home, rather than a hotel, which was absolutely lovely. The hot tub was warm and ready for us the moment we arrived, and Jacques was incredibly generous with the supplies he provided. There was ample crockery and cookware, and the facilities were all clean and functional. The property more than lives up to the pictures - the views out of the window were really very pretty, and Jacques has a number of horses. He was frequently up and about with them, and he and his wife were always friendly and up for a nice chat, and advice on things to do in the area. We'd be very pleased to stay here again. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. It was a good base for us, so that we could visit lots of interesting places.

Surrounded by nothing but countryside, it really is the perfect remote getaway. Jacques couldn’t have been more hospitable and has a great local knowledge of the area. Would highly recommend and suspect it’s even more beautiful in the summer!

We had a very warm welcome from Jacques who was both friendly and helpful throughout our stay and introduced us to his horses.

We were also able to watch dressage practice in the arena from our patio. The cottage itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and warm. Oodles of storage space in the bedrooms and kitchen and an extensive supply of kitchen equipment. Everything is top quality (excellent chair and lamp for reading) and comfortable. A great location for visiting the area - we particularly enjoyed Ross on Wye, Tewkesbury, Upton upon Severn, Ledbury and the Forest of Dean. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Will be very happy to book a return visit.

The cottage was spacious, spotless and homely. The location is idyllic, peaceful and relaxing with views of the garden, orchard and horses in the paddocks. We absolutely loved our time there and didn't want to leave. The location is ideal for visiting so many places, so we'll definitely return. We shared several interesting chats with Jacques, a very thoughtful and interesting man. His three dogs were good fun too. A brilliant stay all round, thank you.

What a find! Clean, comfortable and homely. Jaqueline is very welcoming and interesting, a perfect host. The hot tub is a joy and avaliable for use at anytime of the day or night! Lots of places to visit all within half an hours drive. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly my daughter loved the rope swing and watching the horses. We loved the evenings when they used to bring the dogs round and she would throw the ball for them. The accommodation was very comfortable and the hot tub was a nice extra to have. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for the week. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The bed was the biggest bed we have ever slept in, the size 55" TV was the perfect size, & the hot tub temperature was kept just right, as Jacques checked and cleaned it every day. We have been to many 4/5 star properties and could not fault any of it. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was it didn't have a bath or bathrobes for the hot tub, however, that is just personal preference. There is nothing we didn't like We will definitely be back!!!

Well what can i say this holiday home is one of the best we have stayed in yet everything you would need for a good stay is included the house it self was finished to a high standard and was very clean and tidy the out side space is amazing with a lovely hot tub which was checked on a daily basis the owners were very helpful explaining everything about the hot tub etc to us and recommending places to visit which was a big help i would highly recommend orchard view thanks Jacques and family for a great stay hope to return in the near future!

What an amazing break-away we just had at Orchard View.

The photos on the listing do not do the property justice, its stunning and located in a truely idyllic area. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds, horses and occasional sheep. Jacques the owner is a really friendly, helpful and interesting charecter, and nothing we asked was too much trouble. He even allowed our daughters to visit the stables and meet his horses, which made their day. He was an excellent host. The house is very well appointed, with fresh bread, cookies, eggs, butter,milk, coffee, tea, sugar, oil and condiments all provided, as well as dishwasher tablets etc, there really wasnt anything other than toiletries that we needed to bring. The property was very clean, tidy and well presented and was a really nice and homely place to relax in, we especially liked waking up with the patio doors open, looking out over the fields whilst listening to nature. Outside was a large garden area with dining area, private parking and an awesome hot tub, which was kept at a very pleasant 38c and was freshly cleaned, filled and heated prior to our arrival... The kids loved the hot tub! All in all we are so happy we found this amazing gem of a property and will certainly visit again!
