“Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds.”

Great facilities meant staying inside was a joy as well as going out should we want to. Close to excellent pubs, farm shops and delis.

The property

Sitting close to the heart of Chipping Campden amidst the hustle and bustle of this prime Cotswolds "honey pot town", Church Cottage is a welcoming home that offers spacious accommodation ideal for groups or families up to 4 people.

Built at the turn of the century this cottage shows many of the period features you would expect, this is a well furnished and tidy home.

The heart of the building is very much the large, yet cosy and attractive, Living Room with its huge inglenook fireplace and old oak beams - warm all year round!

Upstairs are two bedrooms and two bathroooms too.

The cottage, along with the others that make up the 'Church Cottages' were once part of the church, which is hardly surprising given that the impressive St James church sits on the other side of the road.Given its town centre location, you really are just a short walk from many pubs and restaurants.

A great choice for one of the best locations in the Cotswolds.

This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.
