We had a lovely stay in Meadow Cottage.

As described and set in the owners property, the cottage was compact but really well equipped. The separate garden area was great for us and for our dog. Everything we needed was provided (as per the advert)and the cottage was at a great standard for our stay. The cottage’s location in the village was quiet and peaceful with excellent links to the surrounding countryside.

One of the best cottage’s we have stayed in .

Great location , spotlessy clean , great hosts and great friendly dogs . Highly recommended .

The property was as described.

It was comfortable,clean,modern and for us the perfect location.There are walks around the village to exercise dogs with a large open field near the church for off lead runs.The village pub is welcoming and just a short stroll away. For those who can walk a mile or so,the famous village of Broadway is nearby with lots of cafes and pub/restaurants and shops of every kind.Very dog friendly. The owners were very welcoming and live in the main house,so should you need anything they are happy to help.Loved it!!

Meadow Cottage is a modern comfortable well equipped Cottage.

It great as a base to explore this area of the Cotswolds. The cottage is set in the owners beautiful back garden we received a warm welcome not only from Kate but also the 3 friendly dogs. It was also a pleasure to hear the church bells ring on Sunday morning. Broadway it’s self has a great collection independent shops,restaurants and cafes although we were disappointed with the local fish and chips. The one thing we noticed about Broadway was how clean it was even with the amount of people and the numbers of dogs. We can highly recommend the Childswickham Inn & brasserie for its excellent food and service and its is dog friendly too. We would like to thank Kate for allowing us to use meadow cottage and highly recommend it.

This is the second time we've stayed at Meadow Cottage and it was just as lovely as the first time.

Owners are lovely and friendly and had some dogs who enjoyed coming to say hello too. Cottage has everything you need plus a lovely spacious attic style bedroom. We were staying right in the middle of a heatwave so it was extremely hot but still tried to do as much as we could! We love the Cotswolds and wouldn't hesitate recommending this cottage.

The cottage is in a beautiful village close to Broadway.

It is set in the owner’s garden with its own private area. It is bright , cheerful and very comfortable. Good access straight from the door to walks. Very peaceful but not far from the main A44 for visiting other attractions. Plenty to do and see in the area.

‘Meadow Cottage’ was just perfect, a real credit to the owners in every way, gave it an all round 5 stars for cleanliness, everything was well thought out, great private little garden, secure parking, perfect location.

We will certainly be visiting again & will highly recommend.

The cottage, was very clean and had everything we needed.

The location was great for exploring the north of the Cotswolds. Host was around if needed, but gave us our own space.

Beautiful little holiday Cottage at the bottom of Owners garden.

They do walk past the Cottage to tend to the horses at the bottom of the garden . They also have 2 Labradors that greet you when you go in or out . This was ok for us as we are dog lovers but is something you should consider if you are not! The Owners are very friendly and helpful though not obtrusive. Has a very well tended fenced off garden which was great for our dog . The Property is very modern and has everything needed for a self catering holiday. There is a lack of cupboard space though to put food in . Could do with a bridging unit over the worktop. The bathroom is downstairs next to the kitchen which we didn’t consider before booking . If you have to get up in night can be a problem. The bedroom is in the roof . It’s the full length of the property and is beautifully furnished but the slanted roof is very close to the bed so you have to be really careful getting in and out of bed . I’m only 5”2 but bumped my head a few times . Perhaps a smaller bed would be better . The location is fabulous. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Broadway either by road or over the field near the Church . The Village itself has some great walks straight from the property. The Village Pub is about 10 mins walk in several directions. It’s a great pub with some of the best food we’ve eaten . The staff are so friendly too . Would definitely recommend this property.

A lovely cottage for two with all the facilities you would need.

So pleased to be able to take our dog. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area.

We had a wonderful week at Meadow Cottage .

The cottage was one of the best and cleanest we’ve stayed in. The location was perfect for exploring north Cotswolds. The little extras like the small table top freezer were a great asset. We do intend to visit again in the future.

We stayed a week in February and received a warm welcome from the owners who lived nearby.

They were very friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The cottage was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, decorated to a high standard, very well equipped and contained a comprehensive folder of important and local information. There was an enclosed garden with a patio area, table & chairs and flower borders. The setting provided privacy and was peaceful with the sounds of church bells, the owners horses and the wildlife - wonderful. The location was perfect for visiting many local attractions, NT properties & gardens and pretty towns & villages - all the more memorable for the snowdrops, primroses, daffodils and blossom trees around the villages and lanes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meadow Cottage and would recommend this holiday cottage.

This little cottage is placed in a great area for a cotswolds holiday.

The cottage is a perfect size for 2, warm and has everything you require for a holiday. The bed is very comfortable but awkward to get in and out of due to ceiling height (a double bed would help with this!). The owners are friendly and very welcoming. You are requested to park your car to the front of the owners property even though there's parking at the side of the holiday cottage (you can park here to unload!). Due to parking arrangements to access the cottage you have to walk down the side of the owners house and down their garden which felt a bit strange.

This was a perfect place.

I had a perfect week in meadow cottage.

Everything you would want from a self contained holiday home. Straight out from the property you can walk your dog through the lovely childswickham village, which consists of a warren of paths and bridleways which go on and on. That for me, having Ted the cocker spaniel with me was brilliant. Simple things like hearing bell practice on the occasional evening from the church, and hearing the horses as there hacked out, make it so relaxing. Situation of the cottage is ideal for getting around the Cotswolds . Spotless and airy inside the cottage, it's a definite return some time for me.

Friendly and helpful hosts. All the amenities you need are supplied. I usually struggle to sleep away from home but not here. Very comfortable and peaceful.

What a beautiful cottage in an equally beautiful location, we chose Meadow Cottage as our destination to be away from the Nov 5th fireworks which resembles WW3 where we live, we weren't disappointed, yes we heard a few in the distance but thankfully they were far enough away to not upset our dog, we don't get to walk too far now due to my husbands knee problem, but what a pleasure to be able to walk our dog without barely touching the main roads, we enjoyed a very relaxing stay which we sadly had to cut short due to me needing to be back to complete makes for a Christmas fayre I had booked, but we made sure we re booked for 2024 and we WILL be organised to stay the full week!

The only real thing we missed was our sky tv as we personally very rarely watch terrestrial channels in the evenings!

Lovely little hideaway nice quiet location away from the hussle and bustle of the little towns 25 min walk to Broadway 5 min drive great big comfy bed and nice and dark at night.

Good tv an comfy settee Kate is always around if you have any problems. Private off road parking.

Outstanding cottage, well maintained and everything you could wish for, a home from home. Didn’t use cooker or dishwasher only because I don’t cook on holiday, saying that the local restaurant has amazing food. Owners of the cottage were very friendly, on hand if you needed anything but gave you your space to relax . Brilliant week overall !!!

Set in a large, well kept garden with a private well fenced secure garden just for the cottage which was very handy for our dog. The situation within walking distance of Broadway, one of the loveliest Cotswold villages, was perfect and we would love to visit again.

Meadow Cottage is an ideal property for couples.

It is located in a beautiful area and only 20 minute walk to the centre of Broadway. The Cottage has excellent facilities and it's own garden within the owners property. The owners are very friendly and provide all requirements needed to have a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend Meadow Cottage to anyone wishing to visit the Cotswolds.

Clean property which fulfilled all our needs. Wonderful area with friendly locals and lots of walks. Local pub was dog friendly and served very good food. Owners on hand if needed but communication and facilities available meant we didn't call on them but thry were very sociable if our paths crossed. Good value for money.

A comfortable, modern, warm, clean and well equipped cottage located in the middle of the owners garden, with horses stabled at the far end, so you get a real countryside feel as horses clip-clop and whinny their way through morning routines.

The parking location is right at the front of the owners front garden so quite a way to carry suitcases as you can't wheel them due to the deep gravel in the parking areas and paths. A good base for walks including roadside path to Broadway.

WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was ideal for us with our dog, being able to let her out by herself when she needed it, and also being able to explore the maze of footpaths around Childswickham. We missed the cottage on the first day; the instructions say a mile and a half past the Childswickham Inn, but I think it might be less than that.

A beautiful little one bedroomed place to spend the Xmas period seeing family.

Very quiet and the host, Kate, was first class. Would recommend for a stay. The pub in the village is magnificent for food, the Inn at Childswickham and very friendly. What else could you want for a short break?

this cottage was in a lovely locatio for visiting many cotswold villages easy to walk into Broadway The cottage was immaculate and very modern with comfy extra large bed The kitchen was well equiped although the hob caused problems I used it several days with no problem using instructions given but for some reason I had difficulty from wednesday to friday ( i hate technology) would return again

Nice place to stay, but lacking freezer or freezer compartment.

It would make life easier if there were 6 of all cutlery and tableware. We are not smokers and would have appreciated a smoke free cottage.

In a pretty village but with very easy access to main roads. Excellent walks from the door and plenty of places to visit nearby. Beautiful area. Friendly host. What more could we ask for ?

We enjoyed our stay, bed so comfortable and large bedroom.

Great tv with freeview, comfy setees, and great lighting for reading. Can relax in garden. Only negative was fridge has no freezer compartment and no freezer. Difficult when you bring own meals or want to buy anything frozen like ice cream.

Cottage is quiet and comfortable with modern and efficient appliances. Very dog friendly with facilities for washing and drying muddy dogs outside. Excellent pub and restaurant a short level walk away. Broadway is a charming and attractive Cotswold town. We really enjoyed our stay, but we think your own transport is essential; there is off-road parking.
