Court Barn Museum

court-barn.pngCourt Barn is a wonderful museum in Chipping Campden that celebrates all the incredibly talented designers and craftspeople who have worked in and around the town since the beginning of the twentieth century.

The museum is a tribute to the Arts and Crafts movement, its legacy and its impact on Chipping Campden, featuring artists such as C.R. Ashbee, Gordon Russell, Hart Silversmiths and Robert Welch.

Hart Gold & Silversmiths (Guild of Handicraft)

guild.pngYou don’t need to be out to buy silverware to enjoy a visit to Hart Gold & Silversmiths in The Old Silk Mill on Sheep Street where silver is still created using the same very methods and tools like in the days of C.R. Ashbee who worked there from 1902 to 1908.

The working silversmiths welcome visitors and we highly recommend going there (don’t forget your camera!).

Hidcote Gardens (National Trust)

hidcote-gardens.pngAs one of the most popular National Trust gardens in the Cotswolds, Hidcote Gardens is a spectacular place to visit, at any age.

Tourists and locals to the Cotswolds enjoy Hidcote Gardens, any time of year.

The garden is an Arts and Crafts garden, originally created by American horticulturist, Major Lawrence Johnston and is a wonderful maze of green and floral pathways, secret gardens and beautiful art.

Lapstone
