Blossom Cottage

The property overall, was excellent We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Blossom Cottage again when returning to Chipping Campden, although there were a few additional extras that would enhance the experience even more especially during the hot weather.

Air cooling fans especially for the bedrooms at night, soft cushions for the wooden garden furniture and a parasol would be ideal.

The cottage was in an excellent location.

Easy walk into the town centre, and on the start of the Cotswolds Way walk. Accommodation was very attractive, well maintained and very good for three couples. We will return.

Great cottage just of the high street.

No dedicated parking but always found a spot on the road within a few hundred metres free of charge. It had everything we needed for 5 adults plus a toddler and dog. Good dog walks nearby. Pubs cafe's within a few minutes walk. Plus main high street shops. Beds comfortable, showers good. Big kitchen diner, utility. Log burning stove in the lounge We would stay again. Thank you

Having stayed in quite a few cottages in Chipping Camden, we would highly recommend this cottage, it's a great location, clean, comfortable plenty of space we were a party of 5 and 2 dogs, have booked again.

this old cottage has been exstended and renovated to a high standard you could not get a better position for the high street or walking on the cotswolds way we would highly recomend this property and will be back again many thanks for a lovely stay

Great property in a wonderful location just around the corner from the high street.

No off street parking but plenty of street parking close by. Lovely and spacious (except bathrooms) and mostly comfy (bed in twin room not especially comfy). Had a great week in chipping campden. Would return.

We had a lovely week in Blossom Cottage.

A real home from home with everything that was needed for a family getaway. With such beautiful weather some cushions for the outdoor furniture would’ve been nice but everything else was more than perfect. Honestly couldn’t fault anything. Chipping Campden was the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds with plenty of choices for meals out, pubs and shops.

Great location. Lovely welcome goodies. We really enjoyed our stay. This is the best cottage we have stayed in . We will definitely book it again. My son lives within walking distance so it was perfect. Thank you for making it so comfortable and welcoming.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, beautiful cottage and was equipped with everything you need, beds were very comfortable.

There are plenty of walks & the village is lovely with lovely shops & eateries. We will definitely stay there again. The only comment I would say ... is it would have been nice to have had comfortable garden chairs & a brolly. It was so hot the week we were there, spent all our time in the garden, & it would have been nice to be able to relax in comfortable chairs. I would definitely recommend to stay here,also central to visit the surrounding villages.

The kitchen has every necessary bit of equipment, which not all.self catering properties have and it was good value for such quality and location. We'd love to go back.

Great walks from the doorstep.

We loved this house.

1 couple, 2 friends and 2 dogs stayed for 1 week. Great location for walks, plenty of National Trust places to visit and lots of choice for evening meals just a few minutes walk away. Lovely presented house. The beds were very comfortable. Just a few niggles but wouldn't deter us from booking again. The smallest bedroom had no bedside lamps. We found the kitchen cold in the evenings - we couldn't seem to control the underfloor heating. There was not enough hot water for 4 of us to have hot showers in the morning. A little more attention to detail required on cleaning mirrors and shower screens. Headphones left in bedside drawer from previous guest. Thank you for supplying virgin oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and delicious biscuits. We've never stayed anywhere where there has been enough toilet rolls to see us through a whole week - extra points for that one! Managed to sit out in the garden after returning from walks. Very lucky with the weather, no coats in March! Neighbours and locals very friendly. Managed to get parked on the road outside of the house ok. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped was a nice touch to have welcome biscuits etc on arrival.

Location is perfect for the village of Chipping Campden. It would have been nice to have had a tv in the bedroom, but only a minor criticism, generally highly recommend this cottage and would stay again.

This cottage is very well equipped and very clean.

In particular the welcome gifts were exceptional. The kitchen/dining room in the side extension was excellent. Chipping Campden was an excellent place to celebrate New Year. The whole main street was decked with festive lights. We ate out in Michaels, Eight Bells Inn and the Noel Hotel - the food and service in all three was very good. However, we felt the cottage heating systems meant the cottage felt cool throughout and cold in certain areas. We struggled to interpret the instructions and were unable to advance the heating system to get heat during the day; or to raise the temperature. It could be just a case of re-writing the instructions so that they are easier to understand. This is a complex issue and I have sent a separate email to Manor Cottages giving more details. We managed to cope throughout our stay as I (learning from previous experiences) had brought with me a couple of small electric heaters. By moving these around to the rooms we were in from time to time gave us the comfort we were expecting. This was particularly needed during New Years Day as we were confined to the cottage all day by gales and heavy rain. I also feel the need to improve things in the small bedroom. Again I have made some suggestions in my email to Manor Cottages.

We had a lovely stay at Blossom Cottage.

It is a charming and comfortable place with everything you could possibly need to make it a memorable stay. On arrival we had issues getting the radiators in the living room to heat up properly. Chris the maintenance guy came out the next day and made some adjustments to the system which helped, although we needed a fire each night and the electric heater he provided to make it comfortable for this Floridian couple.

The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, very clean and everything (eg beds and sofas) are very comfy. All the period features inside are beautiful. Location is really good too, right around the corner from the main high street, we had lots of evening walks, and the cottage itself is in a really quiet little area so best of both worlds! Also lots of bigger walks on The Cotswold Way in gorgeous countryside. Plenty of logs for the logburner which makes it feel really cosy. Highly recommend and we definitely are hoping to come back one day! Thank you for a lovely holiday!

A beautifully renovated property that combined modern open space in the kitchen with cosy, snug rooms in the original part of the property.

Ideal location, bring only a few minutes walk from the high street, yet very quiet. As you’d expect from an historic cottage, on-street parking outside was not always available, but there was plenty of parking less than a couple of minutes’ walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay

The cottage was superb.

Everything super comfortable, cottage warm and cosy, log fire excellently stocked! Wonderful welcome pack with biscuits to enjoy and a cleaning pack. I was delighted to find kitchen spray as this seems to be rare in other cottages I’ve stayed in. Kitchen stocked with the basics like salt and pepper, olive oil, milk. So that was very convenient. Everything clean. This cottage is ideally located! Turn to the right and you are a 2 minute walk from centre of chipping Campden, turn to the left and you walk up onto the Cotswolds Way! Very well appointed with attractive interiors. We liked it so much that our grand plans for dinners out each night were changed to dinner in the cottage on 2 of our 3 nights! But the great thing is that it is such a swift walk from bars and restaurants that you can enjoy an aperitif or a pre or post dinner cocktail elsewhere without having to taxi it or one of you dipping out and being the driver. Owner very responsive and amazingly swift, going above and beyond when we asked about something - excellent service. This weekend was a special treat and much needed escape with my mum, and we both really did enjoy a lovely stay.

Lovely cottage with a great location to walk to the restaurants located in the town.

As its a dog friendly cottage I expected a stair gate to stop the dog trying to get upstairs. Most cottages I've stayed in gave a good supply of logs to put on the fire, unfortunately there was very few. Cottage bedding was nice and fresh. Kitchen had everything you need. Enjoyed my stay.

Many issues with maintenance and cleanliness.

eg the coffee machine didn't work and on investigation had mouldy coffee grounds blocking up the inside. We had a failure of the downstairs electrical sockets due to a fuse being constantly blown when turning on the electric towel rail. The washing machine didn't work until the electrician moved it when it mysteriously burst into life. The maintenance man left the bathroom covered in saw dust after fixing the bathroom door so it could close and finally we had a very different opinion of cleanliness compared to the housekeeping staff - dog hair, dust and cobwebs on the floor and dirty worktops in the kitchen when we moved any of the items on the worktops. On the plus side the location of the cottage was great. It would be a big improvement if the owner actually carried out the maintenance tasks that all the staff know are needed rather than keep renting the cottage out continually.

The opening under the stairs is quite dangerous and perhaps needs a door or gate

Location was great being so close to the high street and there were plenty of things to do nearby. The cottage itself was very nicely laid out and was very clean and we loved our stay, thank you!

Blossom Cottage is one of the nicest holiday cottages we've stayed at, and there have been many over the years.

Chipping Campden is a lovely Cotswolds village and Blossom Cottage is only two minutes walk from the high street. It's also the starting point for some lovely scenic walks in nearby fields and woods. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and well supplied. Thank you!

I honestly couldn't fault a single thing - everything has been thought about in the cottage, with high end appliances, very comfortable furnishings and exceptionally clean throughout. We will definitely look to visit again.

A fabulous weekend visit to celebrate a special birthday.

Everything was exceptional in the cottage. Light and airy, and most importantly clean. Every type of utensil you could possibly need. We had a tapas evening and had no issues finding everything we needed. I brought kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid and you didn’t need to! Lovely quiet location, but just a short walk to the town centre. We finished the weekend with a visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, which we loved, well worth a visit. I can highly recommend this cottage, it’s beautiful, Thank you so much!

We had such a lovely time at blossom cottage, the house is immaculate, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and more!

Thank you so much for the goodies left in the kitchen too, the biscuits went down a treat after a long drive with the kids. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the board games too :) We holiday a lot and this is by far the nicest house we have stayed in and will definitely be booking again! It really shows how well the owners keep the property maintained, it’s been done to such a high standard which as a guest is most appreciated. The surrounding towns are beautiful so picturesque, we are looking forward to coming back again, thank you for making our stay so lovely, Katie :)

Adjusting the central heating was disappointing particularly as the weather was cold.

It was warmer after we made contact and someone called by and we appreciated the extra logs and bottle of wine. The underfloor heating in the kitchen area never showed the slightest hint of warmth though and the thermostat was displaying the totally wrong time which can't have helped. Getting into the shower in the main bathroom felt impossible as the shower door barely opened and there was no hint about how to change the shower head according to personal preference. Knowing the area well the cottage is in a lovely location and is very thoughtfully furnished but it felt a little as no-one has ever spent a few nights there to test things out. Hooks on the back of the bathroom doors would be a helpful addition. Despite these little blips we loved it and will hope to return.

The standard of the accommodation was excellent - it had everything we needed and was spotless. Location is perfect for the centre of Chipping Campden - parking wasn't a problem.
