Thelwall Cottage is a cosy bolt hole, resting in a quiet lane in the quaint village of Adderbury in north Oxfordshire.

There is an en-suite bathroom with a choice of L-shaped bath/shower to start each new day.

When you want to explore your charming village setting, head down the winding lane that the property is located on and you'll reach a babbling brook, as well as a pretty church, while ample walking opportunities are available around the village, including through the nature reserve of Adderbury Lakes and the many local bridleways & canal paths.

There is a good village store for essentials and four pubs (three of which serve food) and specialise in real ales all within walking distance.

Just three miles north brings you to the bustling market town of Banbury, with a host of cultural attractions to enjoy, including the medieval Broughton Castle, Banbury Museum Trust and the grade I listed St Mary's Church.

Be sure to visit the stately home of Upton House and Garden, which boasts 1930s period displays, stunning sunlit terraces, walking trails and an antique bookstore, while the National Herb Centre is fascinating for wildlife lovers, with culinary, medicinal and heirloom herbs, fruit trees, shrubs and planters.

You will also find good shopping facilities, cafés, and restaurants - ideal for rainy days - as well as a handful of pretty parks to enjoy strolls in the sunshine.
