A 4x4 would be needed if snow was around. Having said this, it is very well equipped with a large lounge and very characterful dining conservatory with its own heating system. There are walks directly from the doorstep in lovely countryside. The wood burner in the lounge was needed every evening and a shame there were so few logs left given the cost of the property, but more could be purchased from the owners. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and has two cookers which is a good bonus given we wanted a property where we could self cater. Bedrooms are well furnished with quality beds and linen and the bathrooms have all be fitted with good showers / baths etc. Its a spacious and well maintained property and we enjoyed spending the New Year there.
