Britford, Unique Home Stays outside of the Cotswolds
The Moat Cottage is a detached property which was formerly the gardener's residence to an historic moat house. The property lies in the tranquil and ancient village of Britford situated on the banks of the River Avon 3 miles to the southeast of Salisbury.Britford has one of the oldest Saxon churches in the country. From the village you have a commanding view of the spire of Salisbury Cathedral and a 15 minute stroll along a riverside footpath will take you to the centre of the City. This is an idyllic setting to experience both town and country.
The Cottage stands next door to the owner's house but enjoys a completely private plot together with a secluded patio, garden and off-street parking.
