“Pros: Mostly clean and comfortable (although a quick Vacuum of the dead flies would not have gone amiss) Warm and cosy in the Autumn and Winter.”

Excellent location Very spacious rooms. Plenty of Guest information to peruse. Cons: The AGA!!! Difficult to master and as we are away on holiday, a bit of a pain to be honest. Cooking a Roast dinner for 8 was a chore when it shouldn't have been. What it's like in the Summer with it blazing away all day,we do not know, probably very hot. Lack of a microwave in the kitchen. This has been pointed out several times in the feedback and as this is a holiday home, this should be a basic facility in a modern kitchen. One of the bedrooms upstairs is not accurately described as it is decorated as a children's room. 2 of the mattresses (ensuite downstairs and ensuite above) need replacing. Bath Sheets should be provided, instead of Bath towels....After all, this is described as a luxurious place to stay.

It offers just about everything you could wish for when looking for an exclusive holiday home.

Inside, the house is a welcoming and stylish home, the rooms are huge and where the light floods in from your private and enormous garden and paddock.

The kitchen is gorgeous and a cook's delight and very much the heart of the home with its classic AGA.

There are windows all along one wall overlooking the garden where you will plenty of wildlife literally just strolling across the lawn.

There are four fabulous bedrooms, one on the ground floor, three upstairs and each with their own private bathroom.

The Living Room as you would expect is attractive and with a wood burning stove.

Outside the gardens are extensive including a garden area and also a paddock all of which is perfect for children (and adults of course!) to play ball games.

This house is just as suitable for families as it is for friends, its superb layout is ideal and its location in this historic village and access to some excellent pubs make it exceptional.
