“Undoubtedly, this is a lovely cosy cottage with a bright conservatory/dining room very well positioned for walking into town and around the beautiful public areas of Blenheim Park.”

There were a couple of drawbacks for us, although it might make no difference to others. Parking can be stressful and it was seldom easy to find a space. The bathroom is downstairs. The stairs have a steep, narrow and sharp turn at the bottom. Not great in the middle of the night for anyone, but generally not good if you have any mobility or balance issues. The shower, no matter where you set the controls, runs intermittently very cold (not even tepid) which requires a lot of dodging. The cottage is not especially dog friendly, having no grass in the garden and there being none to the front of the property. If your dog, like ours, will only do its business in a grassy area you will need to go on a walk with it!
