“A lovely & convenient place to stay with comfortable beds & enough equipment.”

As others have said, it is quiet at night despite being in the town. We parked the car safely in a street nearby, using the pass provided (there's no longer an allocated space behind the house as earlier reviews indicate). For unloading it's easy to park for up to an hour outside the police station next door. A couple of suggestions: there's space in the kitchen for a microwave so why not provide a small one? For unloading it's easy to park for up to an hour outside the police station next door. A couple of suggestions: there's space in the kitchen for a microwave so why not provide a small one? And simple instructions about the heating & timings (perhaps laminated for Covid safety) would have been useful. The owner was very helpful when we texted him about the cottage not being warm enough & he changed the temperature & timings remotely to suit us. We didn't realise until the end that we could use the free-standing thermostat to change the temperature ourselves as we're unused to that type of thermostat and assumed all changes had to be done by the owner!! But we had a wonderful short break.
