“It is difficult to rate Sykes cottages as we booked our holiday through manor cottages a year ago.”

We received notification that the owners to the cottage we had booked had stopped letting it out a few weeks before the holiday. We were offered an alternative at the same price which was just as good as he original booking. Thanks

We received notification that the owners to the cottage we had booked had stopped letting it out a few weeks before the holiday. Thanks We have re-booked through manor cottages for the last few years in October/November for the following year where they always had a 10% discount. Will Sykes cottages offer such discounts ?

The property

Located within the Cotswolds' 550 acre Lower Mill Estate nature reserve and just a minute's stroll from the River Thames, the property offers accommodation ideal for families with youngsters, but is also perfect for couples looking to relax. Internally, the cottage is welcoming and well furnished with your own grassed garden outside, perfect for sitting / playing, with a small and shallow stream, and lake beyond. The Lower Mill Estate is particularly attractive for families as there are many activities on offer, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis court and walking as well as countless other activities nearby.

This property also benefits from Membership of the ARTSPA facility (heated indoor/outdoor pools, as well as an eco-pool, sauna, treatment rooms, gym etc). In our opinion Kingfishers Cottage is perfect for families who are happy for their children to enjoy space and things to do, or for those who would like the peace and quiet outside school holiday times.
