  • “Viaduct House is in an ideal location in the Wye Valley.”

Great open air facilities nearby, bike rental, canoeing, Go Ape, walks etc. Viaduct House provides very comfortable accommodation. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure that renters have everything they could need. Note that there are 13 worn stone steps from the gate to the front door mostly without a hand hold. Not a problem to the able but could be to anyone with mobility issues.

Close by is the famous Goodrich Castle, a perfect example of a 12th century "Marcher Castle", while just 7 miles away, overlooking a large loop in the River Wye, is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of rural Herefordshire. This attractive town has timbered Tudor houses clustered around the striking 17th century Market Hall, and there are excellent shops, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste.
