The property

Set in ‘The Jewel of the Cotswolds’, the lovely village of Broadway, is this elegant and historic property, Blundell’s Cottage.

Providing a family of four or a small group of keen walkers a charming base from which to explore the wonders of the Cotswolds.

High ceilings and a stylish fireplace rest in the living room/diner, with a woodburning stove to provide extra heat, you can settle in here after a brisk walk up to Broadway Tower, choosing from either of the two sofas, with a TV there for entertainment, or sit at the dining table for a classic board game.

Perch at the breakfast bar in the kitchen when it’s your night off from cooking, and oversee your loved ones make use of the ample appliances to rustle up something tasty using some fresh local ingredients from one of the nearby shops.

Relax within the enclosed garden to the rear on a warm, summer evening, and sip a cool glass of wine.

Find a lovely sleeping spot in one of the two bedrooms, choosing from the double room or the twin room, each offering quality bed linens and furnishings, combining to provide a pleasant space to end the day in.

Step into the shower room when you wake to begin your day with a hot shower within the corner cubicle.

The location is a real treat, being just off the main high street, you can enjoy the tranquillity of a quiet road, while being within easy reach of the amazing amenities within this picturesque village.

Broadway has lots to offer in the form of boutique shops, excellent pubs and some quirky restaurants, so you can dine out every night if you want to and always find something new to try.

Visit the neighbouring Cotswold towns of Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, or Stow-on-the-Wold for more delightful day trips, or head out on foot via the 100-mile long Cotswold Way, connecting you to idyllic villages and offering stunning scenery, it's a walker's paradise!
