“Snug and cosy in the Cotswolds”

We booked via Sykes for a half term break... Being away from others given COVID but also with a private hot tub for a relaxing break. David and Netty were fabulous hosts: on hand if help was needed or just a general chit chat of the area but also respecting our privacy. The "hut" is cosy and snug, warm and welcoming. We managed to cook a decent Slimming World friendly "fry up" each day but also frequented local establishments. We HIGHLY recommend the local pub, The Fleece Inn, which is a stones throw, an aged building managed by the National Trust and one that does fantastic grub! Well located for typical Cotswolds sites such as visiting Brum, going to Broadway, the steam train for Gloucester and Warwickshire, and Stratford-upon-Avon to name a few, and well priced for the area. Would definitely recommend and revisit!

This charming village boasts its own Community village shop and a 600-year old village inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk, food and drink festivals throughout the year. The village of Badsey is 1.5 miles away and has a well-stocked shop, Post Office and butcher, plus just 4 miles away the quintessential English village of Broadway offers individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels. The world-renowned Lygon Arms has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities that can be enjoyed at pre-arranged times.
