Stayed at Wadham cottage for a week last year, the cottage is perfectly placed on Bourton-on-the-Water front street, the drive is quite narrow and a large car may have to fold the wing mirrors in,you have a decent sized allocated car space beside a grassed area but is not dog secure, the cottage is OK,the kitchen is small but nice and clean with just about everything you need, the sitting room was small dark and dated and very noisy from passing traffic and people until late on and the church bells constantly ringing think it was every 15 minutes and Sunday from approx 6am ringing out songs ,both bedrooms where nice and clean with comfy beds but little storage space, the bathroom was ok but maybe needs replacing,Bourton-on-the-Water is beautiful with a lovely river which our doggy loved,Bourton had a couple of takeaways, a Co-op some small shops and 4 or 5 decent pubs with tourist prices, there are many lovely places to visit near Bourton, will visit Bourton again but not Wadham cottage
Thank you for your feedback on Wadham Cottage. The kitchen was refurbished three months prior to your stay. The Church Bells do chime 2 or 3 versus of a hymn every 3 hours from 6am until 9pm, most people find this really charming. We do not advertise the garden as secure, it is enclosed but not secure due to the hedge down one side. Manor Cottages Property Owner
