With so many different stalls, you are sure to find something to pique your interest at Warwick Market. From trinkets and toys to clothes and plants, this is one of the best markets in Warwick to visit throughout the year.

The market is open between 9am – 3pm. Along the way, you can find local cafes and restaurants to sit down and relax after a day of bargains.

Artisan & Re-enactors Market

Whether you spend your weekends re-enacting historical events or have a curiosity for ye olde Britain, the Artisan & Re-enactors Market in Warwickshire is a must. The artisan market in Warwick is a mix of unusual items that are perfect for your next re-enaction.

You can find pottery, pocket watches, tankards and armour among the mix of stalls. You may even want to pass by the blacksmith to sharpen your sword.

Although this Warwick market targets re-enactors, it is a great day out for the whole family. You are sure to be impressed by the atmosphere and the time these independent makers put into their work. You may find yourself leaving with a brand-new suit of armour.

A lot of the stallholders at the Artisan & Re-enactors Market are the manufacturers themselves. It is great to see the passion and skills that go into creating the items on sale.

Fresh beer, cider, live music and an entertaining atmosphere are all available at the Warwick Beer Festival. With independent breweries at the heart of the market, you will find a range of unique beers and ciders to sample.

Each year there are hundreds of beers and ciders on offer. The list includes many of the region’s proudest brewers. Why not sample some of the Slaughterhouse Breweries customer favourites or a stunning IPA from the Old Pie Factory Brewery.

At the Warwick Beer Festival, the organisers aim to keep the visitors entertained. Throughout the day, you can experience local bands and live music. There’s nothing better than sampling the region’s ales and listening to live music with your friends and family.

With over 50 stalls, you can find treats for yourself, children and dogs. You can find fresh street food, delicatessens, preserves and somewhere to wet your whistle. It is the perfect stop for any foodies in the area.

Plus, if you are travelling with your family, the children have a chance to have an enchanting experience with Santa. At the festival, there is a Grotto where you can take photos, receive a gift and immerse children in the magic of Christmas.

Warwick Mop Fair

With nearly 700 years of history, the Warwick Mop Fair is well ingrained into the region’s heritage. Taking place on the first Friday and Saturday after the 12th of October, the Warwick Mop Fair is perfect for children and adults.

With the Mayor officially opening the fair on the first Saturday, you can discover food, drinks and many adrenaline-fuelled rides. The main feature of the Warwick Mop Fair is the prized hog roast. An auction decides who gets the first slice, and then the rest is divided up and sold to anyone who wants a succulent roast.

Each year the Mop Fair brings many traditional values back to the residents. However, it is a fantastic spectacle for anyone to get involved with.

We can’t talk about the best markets in Warwick without mentioning a local Christmas market. The Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Market is one of the best in the area.

What makes the Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Market stand out is the Victorian theme. The stallholders dress up and get into character, serving street food, mulled wine and hot chocolate. The little ones can meet Santa and his magical reindeer while the adults can enjoy live music, dance groups and a few Baileys hot chocolates.

After recent popularity, the Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Market has expanded to give you an extra day of festive fun. Running from Thursday to Sunday, you can get into the Christmas spirit with the whole family.
