Just returned from a lovely week at Cedar Barn.
It is a quiet and private property with a great safe outdoor space for the dogs. Our two border collies spent most of their time outside! It's in a great location with plenty of walks on the doorstep and for the wildlife. The property is very comfortable with a good deal of thought in making it homely with all you need. Spotlessly clean. Booked again for next year!
We have just returned from a very pleasant week in Cedar Barn near Pershore.
We were a group of 4 adults who were attending a wedding in nearby Pershore Abbey. The Barn was extremely comfortable and met our needs very well. Our first priority was that it had to be dog safe and dog friendly. This was indeed the case and our dog was allowed out in the garden without us having to watch her every minute. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, although there was only a small ice box in the fridge and no freezer. The only 3 suggestions I have to improve the experience are 1. It would have been better to provide guests with 2 bath and hand towels as 1 of each is not enough for a week. 2. It would have been nice to have a television in one of the bedrooms as my sister and I were football widows. 3. We tried our best with the recycling but there was no clear guidance in the information provided as to what should be placed in each bin. However, these are only minor issues. Overall, our experience in Cedar Barn was great and I think the owners have done a great job in styling it. Thank you for the experience.
Lovely barn, surrounded by acres of farmland.
The garden area was huge, and is ideal for pets to run around. The barn was very clean. We loved a lot of the accessories within the property. There were great views from the bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. In the kitchen was everything you could need; air fryer, microwave, dishwasher, etc. There was a basket with dog biscuits, toys, etc. which was nice. There's plenty of places to walk locally and Pershore, for instance, is only a few miles drive away. As it's set within a rural setting you can expect a degree of insects, but we didn't find them to be a huge issue. The tap on the sink was stuck in one position. So, that would need attention. Had a lovely time at the property and would highly recommend it.
