The property is situated in extensive grounds, in a quiet and secluded part of the village and has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The cottage opens to dining area with seating for up to eight adults. Upstairs you will find four bedrooms: one master king-size with an en-suite bathroom and WC, two further double bedrooms, and a family room with a bunk bed, a trundle and a single bed. Two of the double beds can be converted to twin beds as required. There is a separate family bathroom and WC.

The cottage is perfect for families to enjoy the wonderful benefits of the Wiltshire countryside. Outside has its own gravelled driveway and parking for several cars. The gardens surrounding the house are landscaped with a choice of seating areas, including a patio accessible from French doors either from the kitchen or lounge. The small town of Tisbury is 5 minutes drive away, and has a delightful and eclectic range of shops including a butcher, fish monger and Co-Op supermarket. Within half an hour of the property there is a wide range of places to visit and things to do. These include the medieval City of Salisbury, famous for its 13th century cathedral, the world famous gardens at Stourhead, the ancient hill-top town of Shaftsbury with iconic views from Yule Hill, Old Wardour Castle, Wilton House and the iconic prehistoric stone circle at Stonehenge, which stands on the grassland of Salisbury Plain.

Lovely outdoor grounds and spacious house as listed.

Had some minor issues which were quickly notified to the housekeeper and owner after contacting Sykes. On arrival kettle was full of soft limescale (hard water area), hubby sorted it out by giving it a good clean and so no further problem throughout our stay. Thank you Jon for bring us a bottle if water. The baby grande piano lid was off its keepers, but my musician son sorted that out for the owner. Opens and closes perfectly now and it was a joy listening to my son playing it. Watch live Tv channels through Roku BBC iplayer and ITV x, as signal is bad with terrestrial TV. Phone signals bad too so use Whats App if you need to contact anyone including housekeepers. Just little things easily sorted. Well situated for travelling about although be careful on the roads as they can be a bit narrow or single track. Chinese in Tisbury lovely, Coop local too.
