From your luxury cottage, explore the village of Westhope with its lovely walks and birdwatching opportunities, with cycle routes and fishing nearby, along with the Offa's Dyke footpath a short drive away.

Nearby, you can visit Leominster, at the heart of the Black and White villages of North Herefordshire, full of antique and curiosity shops.

This area has an abundance of traditional pubs offering locally-sourced food and real ale.

With a friendly market town atmosphere, the city of Hereford has been the market and commercial centre of Herefordshire farming communities for hundreds of years and is well worth a visit.

Westhope is a peaceful, rural village set amidst beautiful Herefordshire countryside, only 8 miles from Leominster. Located in the heart of the border countryside where England and Wales nudge each other along Offa's Dyke, the area is a haven for walking and cycling, and for discovering olde worlde country pubs in the unspoilt villages close by. The picturesque village of Weobley, just a short drive away, is a hidden gem and is quite simply the jewel in the crown of Herefordshire’s famous Black and White Village Trail. This delightful village boasts many timber framed houses, some dating back to the 1400s and boasts excellent facilities including shops, churches, coffee shops, traditional pubs and the renowned Jules restaurant. Leominster, possesses some fine examples of architecture such as the Priory Church, along with a wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs, and is the ideal place in which to spend a lazy afternoon strolling around in pleasant surroundings. Within easy reach are Hay-on-Wye, the 'town of books' and the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains.
