    The cottage perfectly suited our needs, featuring a comfortable sitting and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious shower room, and a cozy bed. The local pub was excellent, and we found the community welcoming and friendly. The location is ideal, offering easy access to Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, and Symonds Yat, all perfect for scenic walks. Our hosts, Ian and Sally, were exceptionally kind and accommodating. While we didn’t require any assistance during our stay, it was clear that ...

The Lookout And The Hideout

Settled within the small village of Llangrove in southwest Herefordshire, are these two equally impressive dwellings; The Lookout and The Hideout. Combining rustic charm with a contemporary interior, these properties are perfect for a couple's retreat surrounded by glorious countryside settings. The Lookout is all on the first floor, offering exceptional views through its quirky window and charming balcony where you can sit and soak in the sun, whereas The Hideout also provides stunning settings, it offers access to the orchid below; a perfect area for picnics. Both holding their own unique charm and quirks, you can choose to gather together in one of the spacious open-plan living spaces to toast to a wonderful holiday, or spend quality time in pairs as you watch the sunsets from your individual plush sofas. Situated in the heart of rural Herefordshire in the picturesque Wye Valley, this attractive town has timbered Tudor houses clustered around the striking 17th Century Market Hall and a selection of excellent shops, pubs and restaurants. Stroll along the lovely river bank, take a river cruise or view the surrounding countryside from a hot-air balloon. Enjoy trips to the nearby Symonds Yat, Monmouth, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, which are all excellent for walking.
