    “‘Tricia could not have been more welcoming and helpful.”

    We’ve stayed here for several weeks while moving house and managed to continue with work and explore the area before we moved in. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The cottage is well fitted and very comfortable.

A delightful country town of old stone cottages set in a stunning conservation area, on the borders of Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset. This small, lively community is well served by a good variety of local shops and ancient inns, with much of the area to the north of the town designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ideal for walking and taking in the breathtaking views, the town is also well placed for exploring numerous National Trust attractions and historic houses. A visit to stunning Stourhead House and gardens, only 2 miles away, is not to be missed, while Longleat House and the ancient hilltop town of Shaftesbury featured in the Hovis adverts, are also close by. Stonehenge, Wilton House, Salisbury and the Dorset coast are all easily accessible by car, providing much to see and do for a variety of tastes.
