    “A superb renovation of a 17th century traditional cottage.”

    A very comfortable retreat with good seating in all downstairs areas and comfortable beds with a quality bathroom upstairs. A well equipped kitchen makes for pleasant evenings in cooking if you choose.

The delightful medieval village of Eardisley, located between Kington and Hay-on-Wye, is part of Herefordshire's famous Black & White Village Trail. It boasts many early 16th century black and white cottages, a 12th century Norman church with a unique font, two pubs and village shop. The whole area is renowned for its beautiful countryside, which provides excellent walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and canoeing in the nearby River Wye. The small town of Kington is only 5 miles away, with a number of good shops, pubs, restaurants and a variety of tourist attractions close by, including Eastnor Castle, Hergest Croft Gardens, the Offa's Dyke Path, the Mortimer Trail and the lovely walk to Hergest Ridge, the inspiration for the music of both Elgar and Mike Oldfield.
