Fern House is a simply wonderful, Grade II listed cottage in the quaint country village of Leintwardine in Herefordshire.

Step through into a gorgeous, country-cottage style kitchen/diner, graced with rustic features including quarry tile flooring, wooden furnishings and a fabulous AGA cooker.

A modern shower room beautifully contrasts with the rest of the interior, boasting a double walk-in shower and stunning metro tiles.

A traditionally steep staircase brings you to the first floor, benefiting from original wooden floorboards, up here you will discover two wonderful double bedrooms enhanced by wooden beams, perfectly peaceful spots to catch that much-needed rest.

The beauty of Fern House flows out to its tranquil patio garden, splendidly maintained and with home-grown herbs available to spruce up your meals.

The village of Leintwardine is a lovely, quiet spot to base your holiday, offering a couple of pubs, a fish and chip shop and a convenience store.

This area is excellent for walking, as the Herefordshire Trail and the Shropshire Way run nearby.

The fabulous market town of Ludlow also comes nearby and is well worth a look around, presenting over 500 listed buildings and a striking castle.

The Roman village of Leintwardine, which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, lies in beautiful Herefordshire cout Office and the area offers visitors many lovely walks in all directionntryside, close to the Shropshire border and boasts a Grade II listed parlour pub which serves a large selection of real ales. The area offers visitors many lovely walks in all directions including the Herefordshire Trail which runs through the village, and also nearby is the Shropshire Way. Close by is the pretty village of Bucknell which nestles on the banks of the River Redlake and lies within the Shropshire Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering a pub, butcher and general store. The historic medieval market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amongst the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches. With more than 500 listed buildings, Ludlow’s medieval street pattern remains almost intact and provides a fascinating backdrop for the town’s regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle and showcasing a range of goods - from cheeses and fresh produce to books and local crafts. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, with a number of antique and art and craft shops, along with a Michelin-starred restaurant and numerous tea shops, pubs and inns. Ludlow Castle is over 900-years old and contains fascinating examples of architecture while below, the Millennium Green offers a large public riverside green and the popular Green Cafe. Ludlow plays host to many food and drink festivals in spring and autumn, as well as the Medieval Christmas Festival and Shakespeare and Arts festivals in the summer. The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall and Cardingmill Valley are all within easy reach and make a memorable day out for all the family.
