The property

This fabulous Riverside House sits in the Avon valley near Stonehenge.

This beautiful property with the river running through the garden is perfect for multi generation holidays.

It is the most tranquil of settings.There is a large garden and woodland and an area of wild garden,totalling nearly 2 acres.

Just 10 minutes from Stonehenge and 20 minutes from Salisbury Cathedral, it is the perfect holiday spot.

The river has fly fishing ( May till September)․ And you can sit on the Verandah and watch the constant parade of wildlife.

There are swans, herons, kingfishers,roe deer, otters and ducks.And much more. There is a tree walk through the woodland and a small camouflage net hide for watching badgers and foxes.

The long private secure driveway has ample parking for up to six cars.Step in to find a contemporary kitchen fitted with built-in oven, microwave and dishwasher with plenty of dining space, and a utility room equipped with essential appliances including a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Through the hallway/sun room there is a dining room for your guests to enjoy freshly cooked meals while admiring the lovely views of the garden.

In the sitting room, there is a large library of books, which you are welcome to read, and there is lots of seating for entertainment.

This wonderful property also benefits from additional office.

All of the rooms are located on one level making it ideal for a multi-generational holiday.

The bedrooms consist of a master bedroom with a four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room, and kitchenette.

There is a super-king-size bedroom and a king-size bedroom, and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower.

All of which have ample wardrobes and storage to unpack your belongings, with plenty of hangers.

There is also a family bathroom with WC, basin and a bath to enjoy a soak after a long day.

All the rooms are located on one level and there is an also an area of level access to the garden around the rear.

Enjoy the peaceful surroundings next to the pond at this wonderful property, and a spot of al fresco dining on the veranda using the gas barbecue (The gas is provided).

Located just a scenic walk is the nearby village of Hackthorne, Durrington, where you will find convenience shops to a meal out in the local village; There is a gastronomic pub the dog and gun nearby.

The medieval city of Salisbury is also conveniently located just a short car journey away and is famed for its impressive 13th century cathedral boasting a spectacular 123m spire.

A must visit during your stay is Stonehenge, located just a short 10 minute drive away.

The house is within distance of Winchester, Salisbury, Longleat and Bath all offering their own unique experiences and a host of historic attractions.

The wonderful colonial style house House is a stunning place to visit any time of year especially as there is a large veranda which is covered and pleasant all year around.
