    “Great additional instructions to find the venue and gain access with use of key box.”

    The garden was secure and fantastic for both my dogs (one large and one medium sized dogs). There was everything you could possibly need provided with some extra really thoughtful touches. Very cosy and warm despite it being bitterly cold out, comfy bed and a great couple of nights sleep. We highly recommend Pops Barn and will stay again if we return to the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The property

Pop's Barn (named after the owner's grandfather) is a secret little hideaway behind the High Street in the bustling village of Downton.

Walking down a narrow path leading off a side lane, you stumble upon this pretty brick building set in its own private walled garden.

Despite its seclusion, the cottage is perfectly located for the numerous attractions this popular area has to offer.

Pop's Barn has been well designed to maximise its small interior spaces making a cosy retreat for two people.

Guests can enjoy a peaceful evening drink or al fresco meal in its pretty and sunny garden.
