Willow Cottage is a charming property in a beautiful setting.

The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are amazingly comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay. We would love to return.

Very nice position, overlooking the river, and a very short walk over the bridge into the town centre.

The cottage had all the amenities required and is within easy reach of many places of interest that we were able to visit.

Great location for walks on the doorstep & short driving distances for days out.just a short walk to the town which has an abundance of shops,pubs ,restaurants .make sure you walk to the very end of the high street as there are some great quirky shops that end .The owner Sam was great to communicate with & very helpful with any questions I had before arrival

What a beautiful cottage in a scenic village.

The cottage had everything we needed. You could walk within 10 minutes to the local village, which had great places to eat and drink. Bus stop which takes you straight into Worcester. The owner communication was great! Will definitely go back in the summer as I can imagine it’s a perfect just to sit out in the front lawn watching the wildlife and boats.

One word - perfect!

Our host Sam accommodated our last minute changes with no problems at all. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything you could possibly need and the town of Upton-upon-Severn was a quaint little town and central to Malvern and The Coxwolds. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

It was clean, cosy and comfortable, and the owners were friendly and welcoming. We could see from the visitors book that people return to Willow Cottage, and can understand why. We can foresee that we too would like to stay there again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at 1 Willow Cottage.

The property is equipped to a high standard and was lovely and clean. It is something of a rarity having a bath in the large family bathroom in addition to the showers in this bathroom and the wet room. The views over the River Severn towards Upton are very calming and being just across from the town is very convenient. We also made good use of the Severn Way which is a few hundred yards from the property, in addition to the footpath which runs outside. It was also great to have the owner living next door and she was very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful cottage in a great location for visiting the surrounding area.

It was very clean and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Sam was a lovely host and offered advice on the best places to visit and eat. We would happily stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

We loved the location.

Peaceful and quiet. The facilities were excellent. The river level which went up and down was quite a topic of conversation. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly.

This was a really well appointed house.

Everything had been thought of, even torches and an umbrella. The bed was really comfortable. We had a slight problem with the tv and the owner came and dealt with it very promptly. All in all a real home from home. Would definitely like to come again.

The cottage was so well equipped and there was milk tea coffee and biscuits etc on our arrival.

Willow cottage is really lovely.

Very well furnished, clean and in an excellent location overlooking the river.We have used sykes cottages for a number of years and this cottage is undoubtably our best yet.A lot of time and expense has gone into making this such a fabulous cottage.Would love to go back there again, so peaceful even though there was plenty boating activity on the river.

Plenty of places to visit just a short distance away. We had an excellent week at Willow Cottage.

First class accommodation.

High spec fittings and fixtures. Good area with lots of varied eating places to either walk or drive to. Interesting towns, and places to visit in the area.

A great deal of care and attention has gone into redeveloping and restoring this cottage.

It offers an outstanding riverside location, wonderfully presented with first class levels of equipment and comfort. The fishery is very healthy offering a diverse range of species to be caught. Access is perfect to the river level and is ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Upton itself is a charming little town with many local attractions and events throughout the year.

We had a lovely few days at Willow Cottage.

The first few days were spent enjoying g the lovely, comfortable facilities, being grounded by Storm Bert! It was amazing, and a little concerning, watching the River Severn slowly claim the front garden. Once we’d been reassured by our lovely neighbours that it was ok we simply enjoyed the spectacle!! Once the sun came back we spent a lovely day in Ledbury and another in Upton. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed. One very small suggestion, maybe a small nest of tables in the lounge? We would definately recommend Willow Cottage and appreciated the phone call from the owner, a couple of days before our visit, during which he outlined all the facilities, key collection details etc. Thank you, also, for the milk/tea/coffee/biscuits awaiting g us on our arrival.

This cottage was fantastic in every way, warm, spacious, and left us wanting for nothing regarding facilities for cooking, laundry, socializing, and enjoying the location and the local area.

We would highly recommend this cottage, great value for money. To stay in a local Premier Inn, with just a standard room and bathroom would cost £98 Per night per couple. And no facilities or areas to rest and socialize, total for the week would have been £1400. And no scenery or atmosphere or any connection to the local friendly town and it's warm and friendly locals. Would return in a heartbeat, and that is our intention next year.

A beautiful, cosy and very well equipped cottage, overlooking the River Severn and next door to The Upton Marina.

The owner has refurbished the cottage to a very high standard and is very helpful providing milk, tea, coffee etc for us on arrival.There is everything you could possibly wish for here to make your holiday home from home. There are beautiful views across the river and also walks nearby. We like to eat out for our main meal when away and there is no shortage of good quality, reasonably priced eateries nearby. My husband's highlight of the holiday was the visit to the Morgan Factory at Malvern Links., well worth a visit.

We enjoyed the areas to visit around Upton on Severn.

Not too far from other towns.Plenty to see and do. The cottage was superb in every way.Clean,spacious and cozy. We were very satisfied with everything ,inside and out . perfectly situated near the river Severn. The town of Upton on Severn is lovely, with lots of shops and friendly pubs.Only 5 minutes walk from the cottage. We have stayed at Sykes cottages once before, and would definitely recommend staying in them. Well done to Sykes and the owners of the holiday homes. We're going to have a look at Sykes site for our next holiday!

A very restful holiday at Willow Cottage.

The location is only a few minutes walk from the town but far enough away that the location is wonderfully quiet. The cottage had everything we needed, and was very clean and tidy. There is so much to do in the area that we would happily return, and to recommend it to others

No, but I would like to say that owner was very informative when I telephoned to get key instructions and the information folders on equipment / facilities and general area information were most helpful.

I would definitely book this cottage again, and certainly I would book through Sykes again. The cottage is comprehensively equipped; in a wonderful location; and the local people are among the friendliest ever.

We all enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

Upton upon Severn is a nice town. Interesting to stay by the river and watch the wild life. Good location to visit other places in Worcestershire.

The location of the cottage was excellent.

River facing garden where the family had breakfast and family dinners, 5 minute walk from the marina where we went on an enjoyable boat ride, 5 minute walk from the city center which has all the amenities. The cottage itself has excellent brand new kitchen and bathroom facilities, really large washroom. The bedrooms were good size. One of the most enjoyable relaxing holidays the family has had.

Cottage described as immaculately presented however it was not:- Very dirty outside and windows were filthy.

A lot of cob webs inside in the corned. Downstairs wet room not practical, floor flooded when you had a shower, I had to buy a mop for use after shower. There was a public footpath in front of cottage which is not on particulars so people constantly walking past. You are only given one bath towel per person to last you a week so I had to buy more towels. I have pictures to show the mess outside if you want to see them.

The location of this property was wonderful and the setting right by the river was lovely

A very peaceful location. It is a great base for exploring the area within easy driving distance of the Malvern Hills, Worcester, Tewkesbury, Deerhurst and Croome Court (NT). There are also walks along the river both north and south. Upton is about a 10 minute walk away with shops, pubs and restaurants.

Great property in a lovely small town with lots of options for food drinks or just pottering by the river.

Plenty of room for a family of four, well equipped, clean and under floor heating was a nice surprise. Parking is easy (we have a large car) and there is a nice front garden on the riverbank with garden chairs to sit out in. Really good location for the Malvern Hills, Ledbury, Croome Court etc. and only 5 mins walk to the centre of Upton. Owner very responsive and helpful.

The cottage is situated close the river, with a pleasant area to sit and watch passing river traffic whist the cottage provides a comfortable home from home for the duration of your stay, also provides many types of entertainment for adult or children be it TV, games or reading just in case of any weather issues.

The facilities were excellent and the cottage was well equipped meeting all of our requirements.

The location made both the cottage and the garden made it most pleasant to spend time there, enjoying the peaceful environment. A bonus for us was having fishing in the river at the end of the garden, enjoying good catches on every day.

Well equipped however a little more attention required regarding how clean the crockery and cutlery has been left by the previous occupier.

It's clean, tidy, comfortable and has a beautiful outlook on to the River Severn. The local area provided us with some wonderful routes to walk, cycle and sight-see. My wife and I would definitely consider returning.

Unfortunately I had flu while I was there so can vouch for the lovely comfortable beds!! Owner contacted us with all the information required to access the property and gave lots of helpful hints and tips. Great property so will definitely visit again and tour the area like we had intended to go and visit all the lovely pubs and restaurants in the town.

Over the years we have stayed in many Sykes cottages, but this one was the best so far!

It was scrupulously clean, very well-equipped and set in a superb location. The appliances were all up to date and the information on use was properly organised in a folder, as was the information on places to visit.The broadband was excellent (some cottages claim to have broadband, but it’s shared with another property or works intermittently) In fact, every feature of the property had been carefully thought out.This, and the fact that it is in a beautiful area, makes us keen to return at some point in the future!

Great location next to the river and the town.

The main seating area had very tired furniture and had a bare tiled floor so it was not comfortable or pleasurable for us to sit in. Toilet brushes were filthy and dust in the corners.

This is a well equipped holiday cottage in a great location.

We had a dripping tap which I phoned the owner about and he explained the situation. It was very clean apart from main bathroom window inside which could have done with a good clean. The garden in front garden which leads to the river is fab and enjoyed having a cuppa in the sunshine with the ducks for company.

Good easy booking through Sykes again and helpful communication about covid 19 procedures.

the cottage itself is lovely - this was the 2nd time we stayed there. it is a great base for the Malverns and the lovely cathedral cities around the area. The location is lovely - it is wonderful to sit in bed with a cup of tea watching the geese in the garden and seeing activity on the river. We made good use of the Rose and Crown pub in Severn Stoke, who helpfully serve food til 8.30 (6pm on Sunday). Phone booking advised and the meals are lovely - only recently been taken over by a new landlord who was very friendly. We would certainly come back to Willow Cottage again if we visit the area in the future.

This is an excellent cottage.

The owners have been very thoughtful about what you might need. Parking is straightforward and it is an easy walk to pubs, shops and restaurants. It is peacefully located with the river at the bottom of the garden. Lots of decent walks nearby, some directly from Upton. We aim to return in the Spring.

We have stayed at many Sykes cottages in the past and this was the best.

The owner was very helpful and the kitchen was particularly well equipped.

There are lots of options for country walks and it’s also close to town which is a lovely place to explore. We had an enjoyable, peaceful stay.

Willow cottage is a well equipped and comfortable cottage.

Very spacious for the two of us, and ideal for 4. We lit the wood burner a couple of evenings, very easy to use and burns well. Lovely position with the front garden ( which is across the lane) having direct access to the river. Garden furniture and a bbq are provided and this is an ideal spot to sit and watch the boats. Great parking and a short walk into Upton town. Had a great meal at the Pundits Fusion restaurant. Spar and Co-op shops in the town. Many National Trust properties within a short drive.

Cottage has everything you need in a quiet location but easy walk to town where there are several pubs, restaurants, individual shops & museum.

Also farm shop 15 min walk & within easy reach of bigger towns. A relaxing holiday in very comfortable cottage.

Excellent location of the cottage, the river Severn is literally at the end of the garden.

Cottage was lovely and warm and extremely well equipped. The directions from the owner were spot on. Only a 10 minute walk to Upton, a short drive to Worcester and other beautiful villages and towns.We’ve had a brilliant holiday and would definitely stay at Willow Cottage again.

A superb location within easy walking distance to the town (5 mins) and the Marina (3 mins) where you could see all of the boats.

Additionally the front garden was lovely to sit in and watch passing boats and the wildlife. Visited four of the town pubs and the food and ale were great. The cottage itself was very comfortable, extremely well equipped and a pleasure to be in. The owners were very helpful when we had a question.
