Refresh in either the ground-floor shower room, or climb the spiral staircase to the second bathroom. Settling into the the plush king-size bed, with beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork, lofty eaves, and a balcony, all adding to the charm of the cosy and peaceful bedroom. Great location for town centre and river.
Overall layout of Coach House was good. Every thing that we needed was there in the kitchen. Very comfy bed and lounge seating. No complaints from us. All in all great place to stay and would definitely stay again if in Tewksbury.

The Coach House is an ideal property, and in an ideal location for exploring Tewkesbury and the surrounding countryside.
The property was very comfortable, clean, well equipped, and very quiet considering it's central location. The off road private parking space was very useful. If ever we chose to holiday in the area again, we would certainly see if the Coach House was available for our stay.

Generally comfortable & pleasant & in convenient location.
Could have been a bit cleaner. Had trouble finding glasses- they were in a cupboard we took to be some sort of vent! Pots & pans a mixed bag. Couldn't get DVD player tray to open which was disappointing as we'd taken a few good DVDs with us.

Had a lovely week in the coach house, very comfortable furnishings and bed was super comfy.
Very central for high street and walks along the river. Great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Great location and v quiet.
On-site parking a real plus. Ground floor spacious and smart TV v good. Shower cubicle a bit ‘tight’ and would benefit from a hinged door access. Bathroom would greatly benefit from a wall mounted flexible hose shower over the bath. Overall, good centrally located and quiet property.

Lovely place to stay with absolutely everything you could possibly need (and some!
) and Tewkesbury is also lovely with lots of good pubs and places to eat. We would definitely stay again!

The Coach House was a lovely place to stay, ideal for the high street 5 mins away, and a great dog walk across the river 5 mins away.
The Coach House had everything you need and more. Bed was very comfortable, and there is a lovely bathroom and shower room. We had a lovely stay. Thank You. Bill and Val. stayed last week Nov 25
Due to illness we missed a few days at the start of our hire, but we were delighted by the Coach House.
Modern, open plan living, plenty of room for us both and our little dog. The accommodation was lovely, central to Tewkesbury with a wonderful pub just a couple of minutes walk away, private parking and even a removable fence that we could use to make the area dog friendly. Highly recommended and if we return to the area we would definitely re-book the Coach House. Apologies that we didn’t manage to hoover up before we left, but Henry hoover stopped working.
On arrival the cottage looked good and had a great place at front of cottage to park.
On entering the cottage felt everything you could want was supplied and cleanliness was average. Bed was really comfy but lounge suite was uncomfortable to feel relaxed. Surprised by wardrobes in photos were locked could use open hanging space only. Only one bath and hand towel each was supplied. Overall we had a good stay at cottage and it was in a perfect location.
Hi Jan Thank you for your comments, they are appreciated. Sorry our sofa seemed not to your liking. It is quite deep hence the additional cushions supplied to facilitate greater comfort. The wardrobes you refer to in fact are the cleaners cupboards and store cupboards for all supplies hence them being locked. Shelf space are both the glass shelves above the hanging rails for your folded items…..supplemented further by the tall chest of drawers opposite to allow more personal items to be put away.. We certainly will bear your comments in mind for the future should such a comment ever be raised again, yours has been the first such comment, but no less legitimate for saying that, and we thank again for bringing your views to our attention. My husband and I found the Coach House very comfortable with everything you could possibly need.
Just a few minutes walk to the Centre and a great base for traveling round the area . We would definately return .
We had a great stay at the coach house.
The house is designed to a high spec and is very clean. The only suggestion I microwave would be useful. The owners have left lots of useful information about the property and the local area.The property is well situated with the main high streets a few minutes walk away. The town has plenty of lovely bars which are all dog friendly. We would definitely recommend the property.

Clearly, we must point out in our folder that the top oven above the main oven is also a microwave oven. Wonderful place to stay, so well thought out.
Location was perfect, short walk to the high street with its many shops and restaurants. A visit to the abbey is a must. The owners were abroad but communicated well.

We loved The Old Coach House.
It was comfortable, clean & there was a lot of information leaflets on Tewksbury & the surrounding area. It was just perfect for the two of us. The fence to pull across behind the car was very useful as it meant we could let our little dog out without worrying about him wandering off. I filled up the bird feeder & the birds soon arrived which we could watch through the window. We enjoyed a very relaxing few days. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the coach house.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It is well located in the town close to the river but away from the busy town. A good central location for the Cotswolds and close to Gloucester and Cheltenham. We will be re booking to stay again. Thank you.

A delightful and comfortable accommodation, but was let down by several issues namely; 1.
Out of date food left in the larder. 2. The air fryer was left dirty. 3. Some light bulbs were not working. 4. There were no dishwasher tablets. 5. Only a little toilet paper to split between the 2 toilets. 6. 3 out of the 4 gas burners would not stay alight. 7. The floor downstairs was sticky and not very clean. 8.The bedroom balcony door would not open. 9. The step from the downstairs shower room is positively dangerous without some sort of warning strip. We both stumbled down at some point and badly jarred ourselves.
Dear Mr Cook It is always helpful to have guests share their views good or bad, thank you On this occasion we seem to have not come up to expectations, a view I similarly share given some of your points. If I may respond to your points: 1. There are two schools of thought concerning ‘use by’ dates particularly canned food, preserves, condiments and herbs. Yes, we could have discarded some of course but we fall into the group that says waste not want not. If it is something you personally check we apologise if you felt they should have been discarded. We will of course go through them when we return and consider their quality and usability. 2. No excuse and our cleaning company (CC) will be chastised for not checking it before your arrival. 3. Annoyingly these can fail at anytime and it will be something we shall ask our CC to report on prior so we can attend to. 4. No excuse, this should have been checked and tabs supplied, sincere apologies. Again this will be addressed with our CC. 5. Not acceptable at all, should never have happened. It is the responsibility of our CC and shall be addressed. 6. This clearly needs to be checked as to why, initially to check the crowns are all clear and the gas outlet underneath are not blocked, thereafter if that does not remedy a gas appliance technician will be called in. 7. Not acceptable and I cannot understand why that should be the case. CC will be chastised. 8.We shall have someone look at this and report back to us, maybe the door needs to be adjusted. 9. Yours is the first guest observation about the step but now highlighted to us, we shall certainly address this by some means which we shall now investigate, thank you and I am sorry to learn it caught you both out. We take all comments seriously and you can be assured of our action to address. May we both thank you for the time you have taken to share your views and accept our sincere apologies. Very well equipped maybe new frying pans as two looked very undesirable an I had to a fry up on a very small one .

We absolutely loved our stay in The Coach House.
It was in an ideal location. The village itself was lovely and so dog friendly. The Coach House was beautiful and cosy for a much needed lovely relaxing stay. Great to be able to park right outside the cottage too. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend. I am sure we will be back, just a shame it is only one bedroom as our daughter would have loved to come with us next time as we spoke so highly of our stay. Many thanks xx
This is a gem!
Perfectly located and it really is a home-from-home. The bed is so comfortable! Be aware - it would be quite easy to walk out of the upstairs bathroom and take a tumble down the spiral staircase, particularly after a few of the local ciders. Maybe a tasteful barrier could be installed for night time safety. We thorughly enjoyed our Coach House stay and would highly recommend it.

Lovely little house only a few minutes from the centre of Tewkesbury.
Downstairs has a kitchen and living room , really comfortable sofas and a nice size tv which is unusual for lettings. The shower room downstairs was also handy . Upstairs there is a bathroom , landing area and nice size bedroom with a really comfortable bed and lots of bedding . We were concerned it would be cold and took throws etc but it wasn’t at all and infact we turned the thermostat down to 10c at night . Nice walks along the river , beautiful Christmas Eve service at the Abbey , some lovely meals out and we followed the heritage trail found on a booklet looking at the beautiful Tudor houses on a Christmas Day walk . Very near to our daughter in Cheltenham and nice to explore a new town . The bedroom, living areas and bathrooms were nice and clean . The only disappointing things we encountered was the fact that the kitchen could do with a really deep clean . The dish cloth really smelt and I had to soak it in boiled water and a little bleach before use . The kitchen drawers and cupboards had lots of crumbs etc . I emptied the cutlery drawer and washed it all and got rid of all the stains and crumbs but didn’t want to do any others on my holiday . The condiments and teas also need a good sort out as many have expired . This was also the only cottage we have ever been to that didn’t have a welcome pack . Some milk for a cup of tea etc would have been nice on arrival to save us going back out for it after our long drive . We really enjoyed our stay despite these little niggles and it was a lovely little Christmas.

However, I am somewhat devastated to hear of the issue with cleanliness. As we spend the winter months in South Africa, we have to rely upon others to maintain the property to our agreed standard. Bianca , whose details you should have found in the property in case of any issues, has always previously been excellent in this regard. I will send her a copy of your message, and await her response. I apologise most sincerely for any shortcomings you found. I will of course, get back to you once I have received her reply. Margaret Stark, I have now had a reply from Bianca, who has acknowledged, based on your comments, that the cleaning was not done to the required standard. We have changed a couple of things ie dish cloths replaced by new j cloths for each guest. We hope that these changes will result in our cleaning scores return to their normal level and no other guests will share your experience. The perfect holiday stay which was close to amenities and was equipped with everything you could ever need inside from towels to condiments. We had a brilliant time and didn’t want to come home.

We really enjoyed our stay and it was very convenient for central Tewkesbury.
The cottage was finished to a high level and it was great to have 2 bathrooms. A few things would make it excellent: Outside security lights would help find the front door in the evening! A welcome note with Wi-Fi code, basic instructions for the heating control and oven/microwave. It would have been useful to be able to communicate with the owner while staying at the property. (We found id difficult using Sykes communication)
Good Morning Glynis Thank you for your comments and the advice about getting an outside light fitted. We will put one up certainly when we return home if not before. I am as puzzled as you are about communication with Sykes which should be straightforward. Sykes have recently updated their Apps in which there there is a section where it allows guests and owners to communicate. Having sent 2 messages to you and not having received a reply I am now wondering if that section was working???

Great location- 5mins walk to town, has carpark space, clean, 2 bath/shower rooms one each floor.
What I didn’t see listed but has a washing machine and iron. Well stocked kitchen and condiments, cleaning materials. We fed and watched the birds which was lovely. Negatives -not that was an issue but would be better if sorted - , the towel rail in the shower is positioned very near the shower, so if not careful when entering exiting the shower you can hurt yourself . It was a great place to stay, and I will definitely return if I was going back to Tewkesbury
Good Afternoon Desiree Thank you once again for the advice regarding the position of the shower room towel rail. We can now confirm that towel rail has been removed and another type of towel rail has been installed so no danger of hurting yourself going in or out of the shower
Property was very comfortable and well located right by the town and the river.
When a small problem arose the owners could not have been more helpful. A very pleasant stay, would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely property in great location with the addition of car parking.
Could do with a gate to make the courtyard secure for our little dog, we managed using the car and the bins . Very steep spiral staircase. Great holiday !
Lovely little apartment set in the middle of Tewkesbury within easy reach of all pubs/restaurants.
Two minutes from river walk. Nice base from where to explore the Cotswolds, would highly recommend this property.

Great location, central to town with shops & pubs just minutes away.
Also a good base to explore Gloucestershire generally. We really enjoyed our visit & will definitely return soon. Would recommend a five bar gate across the front driveway with chicken wire stapled at bottom so your dog could stretch their legs safely.
