“Lovely, cosy little cottage right at the edge of the town.”

Ideal location with easy access to the town and riverside walks. Cottage is tastefully decorated, minimalist to make the most of the listed qualities (stone floor, walls and black beams). As with previous reviews, I'm 6 foot tall, so always had to be mindful of ducking under doorways (not always successful!), but this adds to the character of the property and didn't spoil our enjoyment. Check-in was straightforward with clear instructions via email and text information from owners Lee & Sally ...

Check-in was straightforward with clear instructions via email and text information from owners Lee & Sally. Kitchen was small, but perfectly functional. Hot tub was perfect after a long day out, although access was via a short flight of steps which could be a mobility issue for some. As were the stairs to the bedroom, which although a short climb, are quite steep. These are not criticisms, this is a period cottage with all the characteristics you'd expect and were not a problem for us. (...and we're in our 60s and reasonably fit!). Would definitely recommend and hope to go back.
