Ross Cottage
Description
Evesham 3.8 miles. Broadway 6 miles. Cheltenham 14 miles. Recently renovated, this mid-terrace Victorian cottage sits in the village of Sedgeberrow, a few miles south of pretty market town of Evesham, Worcestershire. Ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ross Cottage is a delightful abode for a small family and their canine companion. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher, so you won’t have to lift a finger when cleaning up. You can gather in the dining/sun room for mealtimes or head outside for alfresco dining within the enclosed patio, an attractive and a secure space for your pooch to run around. Spend your down time in the lounge, complete with a Smart TV so you can catch up with your favourite series, plus an open fire for those chilly evenings.
Head upstairs and choose from two lovely bedrooms to rest your head in; the master hosts a double whilst there is also a single, serviced by a gleaming shower room. Just across the road lies a popular Indian restaurant, Shukur's at the Queen's Head, where you can treat the group to a meal out. A short drive away you can head to the charming village of Broadway, home to a fantastic high street, full of restaurants and shops. Broadway Tower is a wonderful attraction with plenty of walks and stunning views with cafes offering great coffee and food. In the village there is the Broadway Museum and Art Gallery or you can travel by car to Cheltenham, a vibrant spa town which offers the thrill of Cheltenham Racecourse, The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum and the Brewery Quarter, where you can sample a variety of bars and restaurants for a fun evening out! The old market town of Evesham offers some beautiful open spaces like Abbey Park and Corporation Meadow, perfect for a wander and a picnic. Spend the day at Bredon Hill, an idyllic spot to enjoy a scenic walk, and soak in panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, as well as admire several ancient and historical sites including Kemerton Camp which offers a glimpse into the region's rich history. Further afield, head to the market town of Chipping Campden, home to the National Trust's Market Hall and Court Barn Museum, or visit the idyllic Bourton-on-the-Water, known for the Model Village, Cotswolds Motoring and Toy Museum, and the scenic Birdland Park and Gardens. Escape to Ross Cottage for a wonderful stay in the Cotswolds.

What guests are saying
Overall a charming terraced cottage, with easy access to places to visit around the Cotswolds.
We loved sitting in the conservatory in the afternoon/evening. And our dog enjoyed the secure garden. Lovely to have an award winning Indian restaurant across the road, food was delicious, but it was noisy with people coming and going.
Ross Cottage is lovely .
. Facilities were mostly there just a few tweaks needed! It has a washing machine but no clothes line!! The double bedroom needs a new mattress and pillows changed too.. Can hear the busy rd from around 5am in the morning!! Otherwise situated in a lovely village close to so much to see and do.. A nice pub opposite with a tasty Indian Restaurant/Takeaway.. The Back garden is lovely and safe for dogs and very cosy. Loved our stay x
Only one hand towel, which we shouldn't have to share, and the first property over many years of renting through Sykes that had no welcome pack,I know you shouldn't expect but a pint of milk for a cuppa after a journey would be nice and the garden was a garden of weeds,we were looking forward to sitting out but it looked nothing like the pictures on line
