Description

A beautifully presented 19th century former Coachman's Lodge attached to the owner's home and award-winning bed and breakfast, ideally located on the slopes of the Malvern Hills, just a short distance from the town.

The cottage oozes character and charm and has been lovingly furnished throughout to provide warm and welcoming accommodation, ideal for a romantic break in a stunning part of the country.

The quality and owner's personal touches are evident as you enter this charming cottage, with a delightful sitting room complete with wall beams, exposed brick fireplace housing the open fire and sumptuous seating.

Through the sitting room is the luxurious king-size bedroom boasting long distant views.

Descend the stairs from the hallway, ducking to avoid the low ceiling, to the lovely kitchen with dining area.

This cosy area with its terracotta tiled floor, charming inglenook fireplace housing the range cooker, quirky pantry and rustic dining table, is perfect for enjoying a romantic dinner or spending time chatting over a morning coffee.

From the kitchen is a useful utility room, with vaulted ceiling, which can be accessed from the side of the cottage making it ideal for walking gear and bike storage.

Many lovely walks and cycle rides on the Malvern Hills are available from the doorstep of the cottage, which is also situated on the local bus route.

The town centre of Great Malvern is only a short drive away and the Three Counties Showground a short drive or walk.

A charming cottage for a memorable holiday at any time of year.

We have stayed here many times now.

A lovely interesting cottage with great views out the back. A good walk into Malvern, but worth it. Very close to the hill walks to. We will no doubt be staying again.

This was our second visit to Woodland Cottage and it won't be the last!

We really enjoyed our stay and there is so much to see and do round the Malverns. I suspect some visitors might like a washing machine but it didn't bother us. The A449 is quite a busy road but the bedroom is at the back with a superb view so it is really quiet.
