What guests are saying
Byways was the perfect place to meet up with old uni friends and celebrate 52 years together.
The accommodation was perfect and well equipped. We were blessed with sunny weather and loved the hot tub and the garden. Glorious countryside to explore and Malvern and Ledbury well worth a visit .
Byways was very comfortable and a good base from which to explore the area.
Our only disappointment and we were disappointed was that we wanted to use the hot tub. We followed the instructions carefully and spent hours trying to get it warm enough to use. From 4 p.m. deep into the evening. Time wasted as we failed to get it hot enough. Ultimately we gave up.
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Byways and honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
From the very beginning, communication was exemplary, answered every question I had, was incredibly helpful throughout and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It really made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. The cottage itself is so homely, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It really does feel like a home from home. I would also definitely recommend buying from the butchery. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality is fantastic — everything we tried tasted amazing. We also visited Madresfield Butchers Grill for a meal and were so impressed. The service was second to none and the food was excellent. We had such a lovely stay and this definitely won’t be our last visit to Byways. Thank you, for making our stay so enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
