“Overall the property was great in a nice remote location.”

I feel however the property does need some TLC and after reading reviews online agree with other comments such as; - Tiles in the kitchen and certain bathrooms needs grout repairs and cracks on many of the times (we had a 7 month old which we didn't feel comfortable to leave on the floor and crawl) - Standard utensils etc we would have expected were not there (e.g. sponge/dishwasher tablets/broom). We were told we had a broom when it was a mop - Cot requested was not put out but was sorted ...

We were told we had a broom when it was a mop - Cot requested was not put out but was sorted straight away, appreciate human errors occur - Cleanliness of towels to be improved, a few had marks on - Lot of cob webs around the property and cleanliness overall we felt was poor. Most of the party spent the first couple of hours cleaning We have used Rural Retreats for 18 years and for the first year used Sykes but can say we will not be using Sykes again based on our first experience.
