Very nice holiday home at the foot of the hills.

The lodge was very clean and very well maintained. All you need is present and we appreciated the welcome package.

Gable Lodge was wonderful, better than expected.

Lovely location, well equipped, very comfortable & great for the four of us. Highly recommend. You can walk into Malvetn, or up Malvern Hills right from the house. Some great restaurants, pubs & cafes near by and the Saturday market was good too (every 3rd Sat in month). We even caught a show at the local theatre. One of the best places we have stayed. Highly recommend.

Our seventh stay at Gable Lodge being a welcome holiday home.

. A generous welcoming food basket, quiet surroundings and near all we needed including Waitrose and The Nags Head with restaurant and real beer! Clean, comfortable and spacious including, two lounges, and two bathrooms for the two bedrooms.

Excellent property in great location for direct access to the hills from the top of Zetland Road and pub easily accessible for good meals.

Easy walk into town centre with bus stop for Worcester five minutes away. In terms of directions to the property we found it was easier to take the left filter at the traffic lights (after Malvern Link) into Graham Road and then second right into Zetland Road. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit - only criticism would be lack of wardrobe space.

The property was excellent, very clean and comfortable with high quality furnishings and decoration.

The Gables is very convenient for the town and also for the Hills.

Wow, what a great cottage, warm spotless and quiet yet only 10 mins into town and 3 mins ( yep we timed it) to the Nags Head - a perfect community pub.

Loved walks on the Hills ,spectacular views, a trip to Worcester and Ledbury via the infrequent but scenic bus also useful for linear walks from Wyche over the Malverns to Town. 100% loved our stay and will be back.

Wonderful property in one of my happy places.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Quiet and beautifully furnished. Within walking distance of the town and amenities. It provided us with a home from home and access to lots of walking, cafes and restaurants and wonderful views. Would happily return.

What a beautiful cottage in a great location.

The cottage had everything you needed for an holiday including a lovely welcome basket of extras. The cottage was spacious, very comfortable and peaceful. Our only challenge was the WiFi which was intermittent and sometimes not there at all. Something that may need to be looked at.

Gable Lodge is an extremely comfortable, well appointed holiday home in a great location.

We had a lovely week visiting places of interest and enjoying many beautiful walks. Just perfect!

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Gable Lodge.

The house is very attractive inside and out, and contained everything we could have needed - one of the best equipped holiday cottages I’ve come across. The decor is stylish and well-maintained. The weather was very hot during our visit and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the pretty garden. The situation is good - close to a decent local pub. Be prepared for hills everywhere in this area though! I’d certainly book again.

We had a wonderful week in Gable Lodge.

The cottage is extremely comfortable and well maintained with everything we needed and the location is fantastic. We enjoyed being able to walk into town easily where there are a lovely selection of shops, restaurants and parks, and being able to head straight out onto the Malvern Hills was a real bonus. Rosa was on hand if we needed anything and the goodie basket was a very nice welcome. We will definitely be back!

What a lovely week at Gable Lodge.

It has everything you need for a week in the Malverns. It was lovely and warm and it was a delight sitting looking out the bay window at all the lovely trees and rooftops. The view from the upstairs bedrooms was wonderful, you can see for miles. Bed was extra large and comfortable and great bathrooms and shower. Sitting in the garden first thing with a coffee set you up for the day. The location could not be better. Zetland Road top and bottom lead to the main roads and there is narrow lane behind the cottage, Back Lane which leads to Waitrose. If your visiting the Malverns Gable Lodge would be a great place to stay. Thank you, hopefully we will return one day.

We loved this cosy and well equipped cottage in excellent location to enjoy all facilities Malvern offers.

We echo previous review that a shelf/basket in shower to hold toiletries would be handy. Also worth noting that on-site parking is very tight so not suitable for larger vehicles.

This is a superb property - delivering even more than the listing photos.

A lovely place to spend the weekend with everything we wanted. Very close to the centre of town but very secluded. One of the best properties we have stayed in - would highly recommend.

Gable lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable to stay in.

We have stayed in many self catering properties and this is probably the best. Well done!

A lovely large spacious, tastefully decorated house in a great location.

Spent quite a bit of time just sitting in the bay window looking out at lovely views. The welcome basket was much better than other places we have a stayed in. Really enjoyed having a good pub only two minutes’ walk away. Malvern itself is a very nice town with a handy walk to the town centre down Back Lane. Plenty of other towns and cities to visit within easy driving distance. Only one thing to mention – the shower could benefit from having a caddy to put your soap and shampoo in. Would highly recommend this property to stay in.

Beautiful cottage at the top end of town.

Very short distance to town, easily walkable or a couple of minutes drive. Very comfortable stay with everything provided. Nothing negative to say as it was well described. Lots and lots of rooms with quirky corners as usual in an older property. We had lots of different weather in a week as it is situated in the foothill area of the Malvern Hills so be prepared for steep inclines and some low lying fog at times. Relaxing stay. Lovely town

A beautiful, well-maintained property on a quiet road but still close to the main town.

Very thoughtfully furnished and kitted out, the only suggestion I could make would be to have some storage in the shower room and hanging space in the second bedroom. A wonderful place to base yourself whilst visiting this lovely area.

Our fourth or fifth (have lost count!

) stay in this attractive very individual property and we have booked a return Summer stay. Managed with care by the owner and on a peaceful road being clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Near Central Malvern, Waitrose, with the Nags Head within a three minute walk having a good restaurant and real beers.

We luckily stayed during the wonderful heatwave in October.

Gable lodge was a lovely base, clean, very comfortable and welcoming. Lots of little things that made a holiday cottage feel like your home for the week. Would certainly stay again as it was a good base to get into (and out of) Malvern. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Malvern link station and we caught the train to Worcester, leaving the car at home. The parking space is a little tight but we were happy to park outside on the quiet road once unloaded.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable.

Kitchen was well equipped (but only one egg cup!!!). Central for restaurants, can recommend the Nag's Head for real ale and excellent fish and chips. Gluten free selection, including fish and chips, excellent. The road passing the lodge was busy but didn't spoil sitting outside. The parking space was very narrow as warned by the owner, but we won't miss backing our car in and out.

A welcoming property full of character in a quiet area, with "noises off" from a local Owl that we were happy to hear one night!

A welcoming pack of delicacies was provided on our arrival. Is near the Centre of Malvern with Waitrose and The Nags Head an easy walk in opposite directions. A superb holiday home, with this being our third stay, and we have arranged a further stay.

Gable Lodge is a beautiful house decorated and maintained to an immaculate standard.

We were lucky to stay during the late winter snow which made sitting in the bay window even more enjoyable. The house was warm, cosy and equipped with everything you could need; the welcome pack was very generous and gratefully received! We had a fantastic week and were sad to leave. Thank you

There are not enough superlatives to assign to Gable Lodge where we had a perfect stay.

In real life the Lodge was as classic and lovely as in the pictures if not better! It was beautifully clean, lovingly furnished, and well equipped with little touches galore that added to our stay, the ‘Outstanding’ welcome pack being one. Gable Lodge’s owner was very helpful beforehand which we thank her for. There was adequate parking and we enjoyed being within easy walking and driving distance of the Centre of Malvern and the stunning Council House where our Daughter was married. We will be recommending Gable Lodge to family and friends and will look forward to returning ourselves.
