She had no idea that all our children — and their partners — were secretly joining us, and seeing her face when they arrived was priceless.
Our two dogs came along too and absolutely loved the large enclosed garden, giving them plenty of safe space to explore while we all relaxed and enjoyed time together.
From the moment we arrived, our host Nichola was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She made sure we were settled, comfortable, and enjoying ourselves, which set the tone for the entire stay.
The real star of the holiday was our granddaughter, who filled the cottage with laughter and made the celebration even more special.
The cottage itself was immaculate, cosy, and equipped with everything we could have wished for. It felt instantly inviting and perfectly suited to a family gathering of this kind.
And the views… simply breathtaking. Looking out over the Malvern Hills each day was a highlight — peaceful, expansive, and unforgettable.
