Games room excellent for the family

We booked the Stables for a family celebration.

The accommodation was first class, from the cleanliness to the facilities and the setting. Excellent bedroom arrangements with ample bathroom facilities. Lovely quiet location but close to towns if you wanted a trip out or provisions. We visited Droitwich Spa which was about 15mins away. A lovely small town with all the amenities you could need. The games barn at the property was a real added bonus and kept the younger and more active members of the party amused. Overall a beautiful place to stay and highly recommended.

The games room is definitely a perk, both the adults and children enjoyed it.

We can't speak highly enough of how wonderful The Stables was for our 3 generational family holiday.

Mark and Helen were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house was clean, cosy , extremely well equipped, spacious for our family and toddler safe. The garden was perfect for the family to be altogether and the games room had a variety of sports and fun activities suitable for everyone. We appreciated the toddler friendly toys, especially the paddling pool for the heat wave. Precious memories made. Beautiful setting, perfect for family reunions. We will be back!. My family of 10 people stayed at the Stables to celebrate my 70th birthday.

The accommodation was lovely and clean, the underfloor heating was amazing making the cottage warm and cosy. The games barn and garden was a bonus, enjoyed by all the family. The bedrooms were lovely with comfortable beds, the downstairs bedroom was ideal for the older members of the family. The welcome hamper was a lovely thought. The only negative I have is there wasn't enough comfortable seats in the lounge, just 2 sofa's to accommodate 6 people and 3 easy chairs. Overall my family enjoyed a long weekend at the Stables.

The Stables was ideal for our pre-Christmas family get together.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make our weekend perfect. The basket of goodies and the tasteful Christmas decorations were much appreciated.

We had the most wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays.

The house was absolutely immaculate and exceptionally well equipped, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The festive touches were beautiful, especially the stunning Christmas tree, which made the stay feel truly special. The games room was a fantastic bonus and provided hours of fun for everyone. Mark was incredibly welcoming, greeting us on arrival and checking in again when we left to ensure everything was perfect. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing and would wholeheartedly recommend this property. We will most definitely be returning.

The Stables is an excelent venue for families of all ages (ours ranged from 5 to 82.

Being in the midlands itxis suitable if your group comes from various parts of the country. The standard of accommodation is outstanding from a well equipped kitchen to lovely bedrooms, one of which is on ground floor. The playbarn caters for all ages and we especially enjoyed Bodenham Arboretum just over 10 miles away near Kidderminster. A throughly enjoyable family get-together.

Our whole family got together for a long weekend at The Stables and had a wonderful time.

The accommodation is first rate - clean, comfortable and set in lovely countryside. It has everything you need (including a welcome hamper of goodies!). Our grandchildren loved the Games Room and found lots to play with. We would definitely go back.

Perfect accommodation for friends' reunion.

The house is comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and the hosts could not have been more helpful, friendly and approachable. We loved it and would come back in a shot. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the Stables is within easy reach, by car, of so many things to see and do.

The place was perfect for our needs !

We had 7 people and the layout of the place is exactly what we wanted for each person ! The games room was amazing and we had loads of fun with it ! Even held a tournament with the darts. We couldn’t be happier with the place and we will deffo be coming back! Bradley and family !

Great week with our family at the stables.

Accommodation very good and the sports barn a fantastic add on which was well used. Helen & Mark very friendly hosts and we would not hesitate to book again. Many thanks.

Our three-gen family group spent an excellent week at the Stables.

The property itself had a very high standard of furniture, fixtures and fittings. Everything worked well, and there were no issues whatsoever. Directions had been clear. The owners checked that all was satisfactory on our arrival, and again midweek. The welcome gift of refreshments was a nice touch! The conversion of these stables has been done to a high standard, it is an impressive outcome. All the facilities that helped for a restful week were there - dishwasher, washing machine, TV and so on and so on. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We made use of the garden and the children used the games room every day. We found plenty to do within short drives including the Black Country Museum, the Avoncroft Museum, Worcester itself, Hanbury Hall and Hartlebury Castle in addition to local walks. We've rented properties such as this several times now and this one is arguably the best so far. Thanks to all involved.

We were three families meeting up on our annual bank holiday Monday catch up and we had the most magical stay.

The house is BEAUTIFUL, the pictures don't do the refurbishment justice, so lovely, bright and calming. There were four bathrooms, all of which were great and coped perfectly with people showering at the same time. The layout is perfect with the living room in the middel and the big double doors out to the garden, kitchen far left so the ground floor bedroom isnt disturbed for early more little feet wanting breakfast. The shared games room was exactly what the kids needed, lots to do and all in great condition. Gorgeous garden area that we spent alot of time in. We also made use of the bbq which comfortably fed all of us. Surrounding areas are beautiful we didn't stray out except to the shop and to the local park. All in all and amazing stay, the hosts were incredible and responsive when we needed them. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back!

Our family stayed in the stables over Christmas 2024.

We absolutely loved it. The place was clean, tidy, well equipped and so cosy and a Christmas tree and decorations had been put up, much to the excitement of our young grandchildren. There was a beautiful welcome pack awaiting us and a gift for each of our three grandchildren on the tree. The log burner was well used and added to the occasion. Helen and Mark were so friendly and offered ideas of places to go with the children. We had a small problem, which could not have been expected but this was quickly resolved. We would highly recommend the stables, and hope to return again in the near future! Thank you so much Helen and Mark.

The Stables was a really nice place to stay over the new year holiday.

It’s close enough to a variety of places to visit and remote enough to enjoy a rural environment! The accommodation was very clean and tidy and comfortable. We loved lighting the wood burner after walking in the cold weather!

The cottage was lovely since it was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. We were able to come together as a family to celebrate my mums 70th birthday in comfort. We all really enjoyed the amazing games room and there was something for all ages to do. The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly, for example bringing replacement table tennis balls to us.

Beautiful house, bedrooms are elegantly furnished with lovely towels and bedding and the beds are decent quality for a good nights sleep!

All bathrooms have good powerful showers which makes a change these days! The whole place was just beautiful, I could have moved in! It is very rural and single track lanes to get in and out. Would definitely consider coming back.

Three generations enjoyed a wonderful few days at the Stables.

The pre contact and information provided by Helen was great. Mark gave some good advice about local restaurants and places to visit which we did and were very pleased we did! The property was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The layout and facilities were perfect and met the needs for everyone in our group. We all enjoyed the log burner! Thank you for the extra logs and food hamper.

Owners welcomed us in and we found accommodation excellent, we would recommend it, and having a range of age groups in the party the barn in the garden with an assortment of games was the icing on the cake. The Barn was clean, comfortable, well maintained, very well equipped - we had everything we needed.

Very nice welcome basket. Lovely area, rural and peaceful but so many activities/things to do nearby to suit all ages. Had a great time and would definitely revisit.

The owners are next door, so very helpful. Quiet location, but it’s next to a working dairy farm, so expect the country smells, flies and nighttime mooing

Absolutely spotless throughout. Great games area in the shed Beautifully decorated too. Could do with an extra couch or a couple of armchairs in the lounge. Owners next door and really friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
