The property

Florence Villas is a well-presented, three-storey terrace cottage resting on the edge of the River Severn in Worcester, Worcestershire.

The cottage boasts uninterrupted views of the river from the living area and from the master bedroom and is perfectly suited to a family or group of friends to enjoy a city break.

With the Cotswolds and charming countryside encompassing the area, the cottage is ideally positioned with everything you need for a wonderful self-catering stay.

On arrival at the cottage, off-road parking awaits you, before taking the garden path down to your home-from-home.

Step straight into the kitchen, fit with an electric oven and hob and plenty of other appliances to whip up a tasty meal for your loved ones.

From here, gather at the dining table to feast while you discuss your day's plans as a family.

When it is time to relax, snuggle up with a film playing on the Smart TV in the sitting room.

Completing the ground-floor is a handy cloakroom, while the first-floor benefits from a bathroom where you can soak away any muscle aches after a day of walking or cycling, along with a walk-in shower if you prefer a quick rinse.

Rest your head in one of three light and airy bedrooms; the first-floor hosts a double and a master bedroom with a king-size and wonderful river views, while the second-floor is home to twin beds and a Velux window allowing plenty of light into the space.

Outside, choose from a relaxing alfresco dinner in the rear garden for some peaceful time in the sun, or head to the front of the property to enjoy your morning coffee with a river view in the courtyard.

Once you are ready to set off about your day, take the river path from the front of the cottage and follow it all the way into the lively city centre.

The city is known for Worcester Cathedral, a grand piece of architecture anyone can admire, along with The Commandery, a fascinating Civil war museum situated in a characterful medieval building.

For a tranquil day out, the Cripplegate Park is within easy reach and makes the perfect spot for a picnic; if you bring your racquets, you can even enjoy a game of tennis on the courts.

Just a short drive away is the amazing 4500-acre grounds at Spetchley Park Gardens, home to a Grade II listed mansion and perfectly manicured gardens.

Another impressive home is Hanbury Hall, an 18th-century country house ran by the National Trust, with grounds open to visitors year-round.

Those travelling with children can spend a day at Hatton Adevnture World exploring the indoor and outdoor play areas, the educational farm, and for the adults, the Victorian shopping village.

Further afield, days can be spend wandering the stunning Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, known best for its array of quaint towns and villages home to picture-perfect architecture.

Whatever the weather, Florence Villas has all the home comforts you need for a memorable break to Worcestershire.
