“Thank you for a wonderful week at your property was spacious ,comfortable cosy and absolutely spotless .”

“An excellent property.”

Everything needed was there including a fan during the heat wave! Good location. Devizes near by also Avebury which has many interesting place to see and good walks. Other national trust place within an hours drive

“Excellent stay in clean comfortable accommodation.”

A lovely quiet week in this well appointed rural annex. It has everything needed and is close to many attractive amenities/sites including Devizes, Caen Hill locks and canal, Lacock (NT), Avebury (NT) and Bradford-on-Avon - all of which we visited. The hosts, Amanda and David, were friendly and helpful and provided secure storage for my bike. The network of byways and bridleways for off-road riding run past the door and there are numerous footpaths nearby. We saw many rabbits, hares, foxes, deer and much birdlife. We enjoyed our week so much we hope to return next year.

“The West Wing is in a perfect location for a wide variety of things to see and do within 30 - 40 minutes drive.”

It's a great area for hiking and it was lovely to be able to sit on the sheltered patio after a day exploring to watch the sunset with an extra large mug of tea. The property was very clean, well equipped, warm and extremely comfortable. It felt more spacious than the property photos suggested. Amanda came round to see us soon after we arrived to show us how things worked and was available if needed during our stay. Thank you Amanda for sharing your lovely property. We had a wonderful week.

“A lovely place to relax.”

Quiet and private. (Some farm areas can, obviously be noisy but not here) Very clean and well maintained. All the mod cons you would enjoy at home. The owner introduced herself on arrival, said if we needed anything just knock on the door.

“Property very clean, tidy and well equipped.”

Ideally situated for touring the area, we had a lovely few days. Devizes was the best town in the area, especially on a Thursday being a large Market day.

“The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped.”

There was a lovely patio to sit out but for us the weather wasn't too kind. I would add it was nice to find a pet free property and hot tub free. Not everyone takes a dog on holiday or wants to stay in accommodation where dogs have been. A car was needed really to get about especially if wanting to eat out in the evening. The West Wing is a credit to the owners.

I loved the little notes dotted around telling us how to use things etc. and the underfloor heating was a real bonus.
