    “Disappointing stay tbh.”

The cottage, although suitable for two, needs a total refurbishment. The tv is quite old with a small screen and is mounted on an arm which has somehow become disjointed which means the screen points towards the floor and makes viewing difficult. The settee and general furniture needs replacing as it's not very comfortable to sit on. The information booklet is very old with lots of the information out of date, as are the books and maps etc. The waste bin in the kitchen, when we emptied each, ...

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We truly appreciate your comments and take them seriously. Regarding the TV, we had installed a Smart TV earlier in the autumn, but some guests found it difficult to use, so we decided to revert to the previous set. We were unaware of any issue with its fixing to the arm, but we will review this and ensure the best solution is in place. We will also update the information folder and maps, and speak with our cleaning team about the kitchen bins to make sure they meet our usual standards. As for the comfort of the settee, we’re sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations. I stayed at the cottage recently and found it cosy and comfortable, especially as it had new covers fitted about a year ago. At present, we do not have plans to refurbish the cottage, but we will continue to monitor feedback closely. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Property Owner
