“I would say the photos are quite old on the listing, and make the house appear a lot bigger and brighter than it really is.”

One picture isn’t even the right house? Very dark inside during the day and everything starting to look a bit tired-mouldy silicon in showers, decking could do with a bit of repair and a power wash etc. We found the cleaning a bit of a let down on our arrival, dirty cutlery and crockery, dirty pans and chopping boards. Bathrooms could really do with a deep clean, urine under toilet seats. Dead flies on window sills and dusty everywhere. Dining table majorly sticky. Not great. Just gave ...

Not great. Just gave the whole place a feeling like it was a bit grubby. Which is a massive shame because the site is great, great facilities and location is fab. And the house could be beautiful. To be fair to James the manager he did offer to send a cleaner around to do a refresh but the impression had already been made by then and we had mopped the floor and cleaned the stuff we needed to use in the kitchen etc by then. Not what you expect to be doing after driving 5 hours.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. While we are very glad to hear that you enjoyed the fantastic location, site facilities, and the overall setting, we are disappointed that certain aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. We would like to reassure you that all photographs on our listing are completely genuine and accurately represent the property. The gallery features 36 internal and external images of the house itself, alongside a small number of wider landscape shots showing the surrounding site. We also take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously, and we are sorry that the housekeeping standards on arrival did not reflect our usual high level. While an offer was extended during your stay to send a cleaning team in to rectify these matters immediately, we understand that you preferred to settle in without interruption. Please be assured that your comments regarding the kitchenware, bathrooms, and general surface cleaning have been directly addressed with our housekeeping team to ensure these oversights are not repeated. Additionally, we appreciate your constructive notes regarding the areas that require a little TLC. We have scheduled maintenance updates to address these points so the property continues to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our visitors. Thank you once again for helping us improve, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner
