However, there are definitely some areas for improvement. On the first day our shower flooded and leaked into the downstairs bedroom, although this was fixed quickly, it’s not really what you want on the first day. But for the rest of our stay the hot water was very temperamental and was not hot enough on numerous occasions. This is a shame as the bathrooms appeared to be in a good condition. The oven hadn’t been cleaned since the previous stay, which I know is quite a job, but there were crumbs at the bottom which then burned when we cooked in the oven, almost setting off the fire alarm. Lastly, maybe this is due to the location, but there are flies everywhere! On the 2nd night, we counted 6 in our bedroom alone.
