Fantastic 4 day break accommodation perfect for 2 and location within driving distance

Lovely property but could not use the Hot Tub which was a great disappointment as we chose this property for this facility.

Bees were a problem around it. Far too many. Looked like wasps but were bees. A plant in a container under a tap seemed to attract them along with water/dampness under on the flooring. We emailed the owner but sadly had no response.

A beautiful cottage which is very well equipped and presented, but not for us.

The reason is based upon the suitability in relation to our age. We found the stairs quite tricky (which was mentioned in the listing)the upstairs sloping ceiling was a challenge as we are both tall and the lack of bathroom privacy is not for me.

Outstanding property, everything about the place was done in such a unique perfect way, well worth the price.

Even down to the quality of plates & cups. Its good to know that when you spend a slightly higher price its reflected in what you get.

The facilities are fantastic - we couldn’t fault The Hayloft at all. We came for a relaxing break, and had everything we needed so that we could spend 3 nights escaping life. Thank you x

well what can i say, this property is in a stunning location on a very secure property, the property was very clean, modern and had everything you need for a short or long holiday, the quaint garden and hot tub add to the appeal, emma and carl are the perfect hosts and are there at your smallest needs the gardens and donkeys are a short walk away, the hosts are friendly and i've found this to be one of the most pleasurable stays ive had with skyes, highly recommended im definitely going again in a lovely quiet part of the cotswolds, thanks for making it such a comfortable stay mick and teresa

Absolutely beautiful cottage renovated to a very high specification.

Credit to the owners who have clearly invested a lot in both the properties available.Nice are to stay and a couple of lovely pubs in the village of Sherston. One in the centre one just outside. We will be back.

The Hayloft was beautiful with lovely furnishings and a high level of cleanliness.

Ideal location for Bath and surrounding areas .The hot tub was an excellent bonus.We would happily stay there again.Parking was a concern when there are 2 cars at the other cottage

The Hayloft was a very well appointed, cosy, holiday home.

Spacious kitchen/ lounge area, comfy bed and plunge bath as well as a roomy shower. Hot tub outside is a nice touch, we didn't get to use the gardens and all they offer as The Westonbirt Arboretum is across the road. Emma and family made our stay pleasureable, lots of advice regards things to see and do. Happy to stay again in future.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely place, ideal for visiting Westonbirt Arboretum.

The ceiling height upstairs could be an issue for some people.

We had a fantastic break to celebrate our 25 year wedding anniversary and absolutely loved the property.

The only thing we could pick up on (which was not really an issue) was that the nearest pub was supposed to be 0.9 miles walk, but was actually 3 miles away. There was a pub about 0.9 miles away, but the road wasn't safe to walk. Also we are not the tallest, but there wasn't much head space in the bedroom. That said, we loved the property and didn't want to leave! Highly recommend and would like to return.

Our third visit to the Hayloft, but our first during the winter.

The log fire was a lovely bonus and very cosy. The hot tub was also lovely after a days walk, couldn’t persuade my wife though. Overall a lovely, cosy property and so convenient for the Arboretum, and the ‘Winter wonderland’ light show was fantastic. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Myself and my Husband had a wonderful stay at The Hayloft for a week.

The facilities at the property are excellent, super comfy cosy bed, hot tub that keeps the heat, large soaking tub and a fully equipped kitchen. Emma gave us a few local tips and the welcome pdf document that is sent has some great recommendations which we used. We also loved the Marshall speaker and to be honest we loved so much about the property that there isn’t enough space to list everything! Tetbury is absolutely charming and its only 5-7mins drive away, and the Arboretum is a 5min walk from the property. The property itself was the perfect place for us to get away from everything and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Emma!

We had the most beautiful stay here for our mini moon.

It was spotless, stunning inside and out and was well equipped. We struggled to get a taxi on any day as we really hoped to both be able to have a drink and go out for dinner, which was a shame but definitely didn’t spoil our stay and wouldn’t put us off coming back at all, it’s just worth a mention in case anyone else was thinking the same when booking. The village is only a 5 minute drive away so very close. Thank you for the perfect start to married life!

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful cottage.

We had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable - the best sleep for a long time! The hot tub was so good after a day of walking and the log burner made the place extra cozy. The cottage is set in a beautiful location opposite Westonbirt Arboretum which is such a magical place - incredibly beautiful with the love autumn colours. I would certainly recommend this lovely cottage.

An absolutely stunning property, perfectly described by the host.

Emma & Karl have made a perfect little cosy sanctuary for couples who are looking for that much needed break away to relax and recharge. Hosts are friendly and chatty and really made us feel welcome. The gorgeous town of Tetbury is just a short drive away which is great, highly recommend the Italian restaurant there for anyone wanting a lovely meal out. Recommendation for anyone staying - take Carrots and Ginger Nut Biscuits the donkeys (Wallace, Kanye and Fred!) will love you forever and so will the sheep! Can't recommend enough and we will definitely be returning.

We had a seven day stay.

The location is very conveniant for using as a base for visiting other locations. The property was very clean. The approach to the property is one way so exercise precaution.Hot tub was rather relaxing for a while in the evening. While here DO get to see the chickens in their posh home and don't forget the ginger nuts for the donkeys. All in all a damn good stay. Thank you.

So cosy and the hot tub is super after a days walking. We love the Arboretum and hope to visit again later in the year, fortunately we know a great place to stay. Nice local pubs and lots to do without driving too far.

A lovely place to stay and in a good area for the cotswolds, we felt at home and it had all we needed for our stay,the bed was very comfortable, was a bit narrow around the bed due to the shape of the ceiling but we knew this and wasn't a problem for us,the hot tub was amazing which we used every day,secure parking was good.

The Hayloft was just perfect for our weekend away.

Exceptionally clean, with top quality finishes throughout; Le Cruset cookware and tableware, buttery soft bedlinen and plump duck down bedding. Lovely private patio to enjoy the hot tub and evening sun. Icing on the cake was the use of the owners own garden and gazebo and meeting their dogs and donkeys. Turns out Karl and I grew up minutes away from each other- small world! Make your booking at The Hayloft, you won't be disappointed

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing break away from reality. Everything was of a very high standard and very comfortable. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful luxury cottage, had a lovely week, plenty of gorgeous Cotswold villages/ town to visit.

Log burner was a must as it was a really cold week, plenty of logs (great log store outside for us to help ourselves) We ate in almost every night, lots of nice Le Creuset pans and oven wear to use. Used the hot tub a lot, was impressed by the built in Bluetooth speaker. Would definitely recommend.

A beautifully renovated and decorated cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only suggestion would be some non stick pans and a few more tea towels and maybe a little welcome pack of basics such as milk and bread etc as the nearest shops are some distance. We had a great time.

The Hayloft is a no expense spared, couples holiday let for touring the southern Cotswolds.

Literally on the doorstep of Westonbirt National Arboretum, a few minutes from Highgrove/Tetbury. It is stunning in every respect. The only downside comfort wise is the restricted headroom around the king size bed up in the roof space; it involves a bit of bending to get around. Otherwise it has everything necessary for a very relaxing break and is highly recommended.

Local town 6 minute drive which was fab for cafes and restaurants. It would be good to suggests other guest be mindful of parking. Check out 10am is a little early.

Fantastic conversion which has a blend of old and new sitting well together.

The character of the building has been maintained and cleverly brought up to date. We are from a farming background and can clearly visualise the nature of the property pre conversion . Everything was perfect from start to finish . Wonderful location . Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked a longer stay . Highly recommended .

The Hayloft was amazing!

I can’t recommend highly enough. Everything was perfect! The property was tastefully decorated throughout and had everything you’d need. The Japanese bath was a particular highlight, as was the two person hot tub. Lots of places to visit nearby including Westonbirt Arboretum (directly opposite), Tetbury, Stow-on-the-Wold, Castle Combe, Bourton-on-the-Water, Arlington Row and Cirencester. Also got to WWT Slimbridge, a wetland wildlife reserve. There were lots of nice restaurants to eat out. Lola and Co tapas in Tebury was fantastic! As was Amalfi in Nailsworth. The owners were lovely. Make sure to go say hi to the donkeys and chickens that live in the grounds. The donkeys are super friendly and couldn’t get enough of the carrots and ginger biscuits. Would’ve loved to have stayed longer!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hayloft.

The detail and thought put into the accommodation is wonderful. It has a lovely welcoming feel which we enjoyed immensely , from the hot tub to the donkeys! The only disappointment was that we didn't book for a little longer.

Perfect for a short stay for two.

A lovely modern yet cosy and sympathetically restored stable / hayloft.

A little height restricted in places upstairs but nothing you don’t get used to. The hot tub is a real welcome addition, especially after a days walking and the electric car charger a real bonus. The Arboretum is well worth a visit, and must be spectacular in the autumn, in fact we’d definitely book here again and are thinking about doing later in the year. A lovely property.

It’s modern, beautiful and homely! Amazing attention and high spec facilities. Emma and Karl (owners) were so accommodating. The Hayloft is located on their property but they made us most welcome, invited us into their ground to meet all their furry friends! They gave us fresh eggs from their chickens, petted their retired donkeys and we met their 9 day old orphan lamb (great touch for easter break!) We can’t recommend enough! Only downside is that we didn’t book for longer. Emma and Karl, thank you again. We hope to see you in the future.

An absolutely stunning cottage , everything was perfect, we had everything we could have required and we will definitely visit again.

The donkeys were a delight. Utterly beautiful and a nice walk down to the hare and hounds pub, taxis were very bookable though.

Perfect location and a lovely place to stay combines everything you might need with style and being cosy.

Emma and Karl are lovely hosts and retired donkeys are now top of my list for my next holiday!

The hayloft is a little hidden gem.

Tucked away offering complete privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and everything is of the highest standard. Comfortable cosy bed and an immaculate bathroom with a very powerful large shower cubicle and luxury bath, with fluffy white towels. The underfloor heating throughout is lovely and very welcoming. Had the pleasure of meeting the 3 donkeys that live there and their friendly dogs, such beautiful grounds. My only regret is that I hadn’t booked for longer.

The whole place was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could want. Emma was very friendly and made herself available if we needed anything. I would really recommend staying here and hopefully will be back.

A fabulous place to stay despite the rather wet and windy weather.

Made full use of the hot tub even in the rain. Had days out in the local towns and villages Christmas shopping and was the perfect place to stay for the light show at Westonbirt.

We booked this stay back in August and have been counting down the days to come.

To say it was as good as the pictures doesn’t even do this place justice. It’s the most beautiful place, clean and so comfy it truly felt like a home away from home, we even said to eachother that we would happily live there it was that good! We’ve already recommended over 5 people to come here and will definitely come back. Emma was an absolutely delight, my partner saw both Emma and her husband and said how welcoming and lovely they were, and I stayed in touch with her over our stay and we didn’t feel like nuisance at all, ever. The hot tub was unreal morning and night and they have all the stuff you could need here. The ambient lighting is nothing short of a delight as people in their twenties it was so modern but so cosy! Honestly could not recommend this stay and if not the adjoining barn just for how good our stay was! X

What an absolute delight, from the minute we opened the door our 3 night stay was simply perfect.

The Hayloft has been appointed to a high standard, feels snug and extremely comfortable. The bath is such a treat & welcome after our cold/atmospheric walks. All needs are catered for, we loved the location, so easy to access the Arboretum and other walks in the vicinity, beautiful countryside. We met Emma, one of the owners on our final day, as delightful as the accommodation. We’ll definitely return and our only wish was that we’d stayed for longer; next time eh

We had a fab weekend in the Hayloft.

The location couldn't be better for Highgrove and Westonbirt. We really loved the comfy bed, wood burning stove and hot tub. The general spec was very impressive and made the stay so special. Thanks for having us - we have recommended you to our friends.

After an injury the day before we were supposed to come to the hayloft, we didn’t have a car for the week but Emma was so accommodating with this, we absolutely loved our stay and will be back next year

The Hayloft felt very welcoming when we arrived.

Very stylish, with lots of nice little touches. Well equipped too, even a wine fridge. Emma was lovely and dealt with any problems very promptly. Look out for the sloping ceilings upstairs, but that gives it character. Very close to Westonbirt Arboretum, which is well worth a visit.

Excellent property with good quality fixtures fittings and facilities, very true to photos, really enjoyed our stay.

Had everything you could need and more! The hosts have thought of absolutely everything and it is such a peaceful place to rest and rejuvenate. Definitely a place we will return to over and over again.

The Hayloft far exceeded all of our expectations.

Karl and Emma were fabulous hosts, always there if we needed them - discreetly in the background. The property is decorated to the very highest standard with an amazing hot tub complete with hot tub slippers and towels. The robes, towels and bedding were also pure luxury. We cannot rate this little gem highly enough and will definitely be going back. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area with Westonbirt Arboretum being a must visit. Meeting the donkeys and chickens and use of the gardens was also a big thumbs up for our weekend. Thank you both for an amazing bank holiday weekend. X
