    “This place was absolutely filthy!”

Every glass, every cup, every plate, every piece of cutlery. I had to wash everything!!! Cutlery and utensils had food stuck in them. Entire house was filthy! Kitchen cupboard had something GROWING ON IT!!! The owner promised some delicious treats on arrival…thete was nothing but a box of 6 crap cookies. Absolutely nothing else. So either the owner is a liar of she is being conned by the housekeeper. Surely its the housekeeper as the entire place is disgusting. I have photographs which I will ...

I have photographs which I will put on review sites so you can see for yourself. Absolute shithole. Drawes and cupboards with crumbs and goo and long hairs in them. Furniture thick with dirt, hair, dander…absolutely revolting. I didn’t have a single cup of tea because the teapot was caked in crud and the kettle didn’t look like it had been cleaned ever. I have everything photographed to show anyone that gives a toss.

The property

A stay at Castle Combe Cottage is a real treat!

Not only are you in one of the Cotswolds (and also England's) most idyllic villages but you are also staying in a chic, stunning cottage with super-swish interiors.

Wow!

This cottage has just about everything a period house dating back hundreds of years (possibly one of the original village cottages) and filled with character - fireplaces (only the wood burner is working), lead windows and beams - it has been lovingly cared for.

Inside is a contemporary holiday home beautifully furnished with spacious rooms downstairs and two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs.

The open plan living area is special - a log burner with plenty of logs to keep you warm give it a real super-cosy feel, fitted kitchen and a beautiful dining room to enjoy those special moments together.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
