“I really don’t know where to start.”

Because we were simply blown away. Everything about the cottage is like staying in an upscale 5 star hotel. The bedrooms, beds and bathrooms are of a quality that you would be pleasantly surprised to even find at some of the most expensive 5 stars hotels in the world. The bedrooms, beds and bathrooms are of a quality that you would be pleasantly surprised to even find at some of the most expensive 5 stars hotels in the world. The cottage is on the grounds of the Manor Hotel facing the back of the church and is in a row of houses where this is the only one that is not owned by the hotel so you have the safety of being in a hotel setting, but with a much larger house. We found the cottage extremely clean and well maintained. My husband and two sons are all wery tall, so they had to be careful when walking around as the doorways understandably were low due to the age of the cottage. The cottage was much larger than expected and so charming we felt we were staying in a movie set as it almost felt unreal.

The property

A stay at Castle Combe Cottage is a real treat!

Not only are you in one of the Cotswolds (and also England's) most idyllic villages but you are also staying in a chic, stunning cottage with super-swish interiors.

Wow!

This cottage has just about everything a period house dating back hundreds of years (possibly one of the original village cottages) and filled with character - fireplaces (only the wood burner is working), lead windows and beams - it has been lovingly cared for.

Inside is a contemporary holiday home beautifully furnished with spacious rooms downstairs and two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs.

The open plan living area is special - a log burner with plenty of logs to keep you warm give it a real super-cosy feel, fitted kitchen and a beautiful dining room to enjoy those special moments together.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
