The Log Cabin

We have had 9 lovely days stay in the log cabin, we had the really hot weather over 30c but not a problem there is AIR CONDITIONING in both cabins, the owners live next door if you need anything, it’s so clean and comfortable there is everything you need, they have 2 ponies and chickens, we would definitely go back.

We loved our stay at the log cabin .

.it was well equipped everything we needed ..there were some lovely treats left by the owners which was a lovely touch ..where the cottages are is very pretty and quiet ..and if you love animals like we do there are two gorgeous ponies and chickens ..we had a morning call from the rooster ..l have say much better than any alarm clock

very comfortable stay quiet and relaxing ,nothing too much trouble for the hosts would definitely book again.

Perfectly suited to our wants and needs hosts very friendly and accommodating, lots to see and do locally with a dog in tow , very good all round trip Thankyou

We had a very pleasant stay and the site was very clean and quiet.

It is a comfortable cabin and the kitchen is easy to use. The towels could have been larger and some kitchen basics like salt and pepper would have been useful. Would recommend this accommodation especially if you have a dog.

Lovely place we had a great time.

The lodge itself is clean and comfortable, and the aircon saved us when we stayed during the heat wave. Would recommend to anyone.

A small but lovely place to stay - quiet and relaxing and a very little garden to let the dogs out as it’s entirely enclosed.

All the facilities you could need - oven, washing machine and an airer and iron/ ironing board. Nice shower room and comfortable bed. Ideal for a weeks stay to enable you to explore the local area. Very happy we chose the Log Cabin!

A perfect little place to stay.

This is an amazing little cabin that has everything you need in it. It was clean and well equipped in a lovely peaceful location. It was perfect for us and our dog. There was a lovely dog walk nearby which was handy for the evenings.

Very good and would use it again, chocolates nice touch, Perhaps tea and coffee compliments left would also be good on one’s arrival

Lovely little lodge with good facilities.

Janet was a great, friendly host. We stayed at Christmas and had cold weather - I was very impressed at how warm the lodge was with the air heating - it must be very well insulated. Loved watching the horses outside. Easy parking.

All good we needed getaway from work at home - Perfect for this and local.

Owner friendly and wine on arrival nice guesture. Quiet and secluded very nice.

New to holiday self catering and no regrets at all about this property.

Close to Neolithic sites and Railway museum in Swindon. Quietly left to do our own thing. Good access and parking. Welcoming wine.

The cabin was very clean everything you needed. Gated drive way. Nice patio area was really hot while we were there.The owner was always on hand should you need anything. Big field just a short walk away to exercise your dog. Would highly recommend and would go back. Jane/Dave from Walsall.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the log cabin.

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a very relaxing week away. Some people have said how small it was which I expected but actually it was a comfortable space and bigger than I thought so for two adults and a Greyhound a decent size….hopefully we will return again soon.

More compact than expected, particularly the bedroom and bathroom.

Perfect relaxing base to explore Wiltshire.

What a cute cottage!

It was far bigger than we were expecting. Lovely comfy bed with modern en suite, The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. The enclosed patio out front was fantastic for morning coffee. It’s in a very peaceful location but not far from the local shops, towns and attractions. The owners are very friendly and keep the whole place looking clean and pretty. Please try to ignore any negative comments about this property, they are unfounded!

The cooking utensils were what we described as disgusting but the owner disputed this description.

We left after 3 days and would never recommend this cabin to anyone.

The Log Cabin is small but very comfortable in a really good location for exploring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.

Janet very kindly left me a few goodies which were very much appreciated. It is recommended for a relaxing holiday in a quiet area.

I had a fabulous holiday in Wiltshire.

I went out and explored the surrounding areas by car and my foot. The cabin was beautiful and had everything I needed for my stay. A really lovely place and Janet was so kind. I was left a bottle of wine and chocolates for when I arrived. Wonderful place and will definitely look to go back again in the future. I would recommend this lovely cabin in the gorgeous Wiltshire countryside.

A small cabin with limited space, but otherwise excellent.

Lovely log cabin, very cosy and comfortable.

A lovely place to come back to at the end of the day and relax - we loved seeing the ponies when we got back too! Great facilities and good use of the small space. Hosts were really helpful and generous. A good location for seeing all the historic sights in the area, shops only a short drive away.

Situated in a nice quiet area. Bottle of wine and box of biscuits on arrival was a lovely gesture. All amenities that you need was there. Very comfortable stay.

A small really clean well equipped cabin.

Very rural with good dog walks locally. The owners who live on site are very friendly and deal with any issues quickly and professionally.

For a quiet retreat the location was good, the cabin was clean and tidy and comfortable, would recommend this for a good relaxing retreat away.

Lovely accommodation.

Quiet area. Easy to get to surrounding places. Wootton Bassett has all amenities to hand. Good range of shops restaurants and pubs.

The Cabin was very nice,clean and tidy with most things that is needed for a holiday break,set in a rural peaceful location within a few miles of Royal Wootton Bassett,with a very friendly,helpful owner,I loved the animals especially the "entertaining chickens",I would definitely use the cabin again, highly recommended with a big thank you to Ms Janet Tucker.

It was very nice of the owner to have provided some welcome treats, both for us and the dog!

This place was great, polite and friendly owner, it was exactly what we needed for a half term break, (no screaming kids .

..lol) nice big bed, large telly, aircon that worked perfectly on hot and cold settings, we arrived in our 5 tonne motor home and were pleased that they had lots of space to park and even turn round on site to make the exit even easier, great tree lined area for dog walks just over the road, out of 5 stars we would rate this 6, we will be back very soon many thanks.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Log Cabin in Bushton.

We booked in for a week with our 2 Beagles, and I was expecting something rather basic as we were allowed to have the dogs with us. However, when we arrived, we went into the cabin which had all of the facilities needed, it was super clean, and very comfortable. There was also air conditioning which was fab in such hot weather, a washing machine and a decent sized fridge freezer. The Proprietors are lovely people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from a lovely week break at the lodge, the facilities were very clean, the lodge is relaxing and the owners of the site were very friendly, professional and helpful the lodge exceeded our expectation.

Very comfortable, relaxing and have a lovely "feel". We had everything provided that we needed, as dog owners, we have never felt so welcome. This is a true little gem of a site and we would thoroughly recommend this site to dog owners. The walks near the site are beautiful, woods, fields, etc. We look forward to visiting again.

We were very comfortable and happy.

Was a great base for us to visit family and have days out. It has been really hot and a treat to have air conditioning unit. Loved the animals and the area was idea. Even had an Indian meal delivered. Owners helpful and pleasant. Thank you We will be back!!!

Although on the small side,the cabin was perfectly adequate for 2 people.

The bed was comfortable (memory foam),good shower and kitchen facilities. Location was good base for travelling to Avebury and Bath. Good parking space right outside cabin. The 'B' roads are wide enough for 2 cars in the area.

Good place, but only thing is that there is not anywhere at property to take dog to toilet.

You have to take dog out onto busy country road and along to field to walk dog. Late night walk before bed needs a torch.

Extremely good value for money.

Very warm welcome received at the chalet and enjoyed every minute.

Advised dog friendly but wanted you to take your dog to the field opposite to go to the toilet.

Not something we wanted to do late at night or first thing in the morning. Also no local information for walks or attractions left in the cottage.

The cabin was very well maintained and kitted out.

The Reception and complete stay was made excellent by the host and nothing was to much effort.

Well worth the money and would stay again.

We were made to feel welcome and the owners had thought of everything to make our visit enjoyable.

The weather was very wet and we were not able to go walking in the surrounding areas, however it was vety eady to drive to Royal Wooton Bassett
